Resumo Português:A proposta desta pesquisa foi de ouvir professoras de pr??-escola do munic??pio de Jandira (SP) sobre como percebem na pr??tica a forma????o continuada. Portanto, nosso objeto de estudo se constituiu da voz das professoras, sujeitos da pesquisa, de acordo com as delimita????es necess??rias: professoras participantes dos dois principais programas de forma????o em servi??o oferecidos pela SMEJ, no per??odo de 2003 a 2008, atendendo ainda outros crit??rios justificados no trabalho. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida principalmente com a an??lise de sete entrevistas semi-estruturadas com as professoras, mediadas pela teoria na ??rea. A base te??rica manteve o foco nas concep????es hist??ricas brasileiras de dois eixos deste trabalho: a Educa????o Infantil e a Forma????o Continuada. Al??m dessas etapas, pesquisamos documentos da SMEJ, coletamos depoimentos de professores e mun??cipes para o levantamento de dados hist??ricos da educa????o no munic??pio e dialogamos com gestores e profissionais que participaram como formadores destes programas. Nosso objetivo principal foi contribuir para a reflex??o sobre a forma????o continuada de professores da Educa????o Infantil, especificamente no munic??pio de Jandira, e dentro desta proposta, a voz das professoras revelou que os programas n??o consideraram as particularidades da Educa????o Infantil e contribu??ram pouco para a reflex??o-cr??tica da pr??tica docente. As falas das professoras comprovaram tamb??m o que as pesquisas do campo apontam quanto ?? inadequa????o da forma????o docente e a n??o considera????o das especificidades da Educa????o Infantil, refor??ando e ampliando-as.
Resumo inglês:The purpose of this research was to listen to pre-school teachers of the city of Jandira (S??o Paulo State) on how they perceive the practice of the continued formation. Therefore, our object of study is consisted by the "voice" of the teachers, the research subjects in accordance with the demarcation needed: teachers who participated in the two main in-service training programs offered by SMEJ in the period 2003-2008, taking also into account other criteria justified at the paper. The research was conducted mainly by the analysis of seven semi-structured interviews with teachers, mediated by the theory in the area. The theoretical base has focused on Brazilian historical conceptions of two axes of work: Early Childhood Education and Continuing Education. Beyond these steps, we researched documents of SMEJ, collected testimony from teachers and residents to survey the historical data on education in the city and dialogued with managers and professionals who participated as trainers of these programs. Our main objective was to contribute to the reflection on the continuing education of Early Childhood Education teachers, specifically in the city of Jandira, and within this proposal, the voice of the teachers revealed that the programs did not consider the particularities of Childhood Education and contributed little on the reflection-criticism of the teaching practice. The testimonies of the teachers also confirmed what the field research point about inadequacy of teacher training and no account to specifics of Early Childhood Education, strengthening and expanding them.
