Resumo inglês:This research aims to deal with food traditions and your current emergency due to the action of the globalization process as a powerful element of cultural alimentary homogenization, which also provides an necessary reflection about its impacts in the food sphere. This project works with interdisciplinarity concerning food and its importance to Extension Rural as well as creating and application in order to contemplate both scientific and public spheres. This way, the mainly goal was to analyze the process of intergeracional transmission of typical candies knowledge just as well the influence of the patrimonialization process in the community where the activities created by youngers members in the Sao Bartolomeu neighborhood, municipality of Ouro Preto, MG. This investigation will support a qualitative methodology with exploratory skills, that methods of collecting scientific data were the following literature and documental review, interview both in deep semi- structured, field journal e picture capture. From the data collected, it was determined these situations: the production of artisanal candies has being facing some troubles such as population aging, the abandonment of this activity some younger inhabitant and still the emergency of sanitary questions. In this context, the patrimonial action aims at built a identity process between the local people and the artisanal process of production, where, for example, the Guava Party emerges as a powerful way of marketing its products, once the guava peel sweet species is the most popular stock covered by legends and myths. About the process of generational transmission of food traditions, it happens in the neighborhood the prevalence of familiar transference. With the emergency of new economical activities in the rural land, with the tourism as an example, the artisanal production has being working as a great attractive for the locality, which also incudes its ludic profile to the visitants, once the production gets far away from the local routine.
