• Resumo em Inglês: This thesis defends that there are elements of the journalistic doing in the communicational practices of Luke the evangelist, traditionally taken as writer of the biblical books of Luke and Acts of the Apostles. To prove this point, it’s necessary to revise concepts and philosophy of journalism, starting from contemporary discussions about the theme. It is understood that the certainties about journalism established during the 20th century are influenced by the high modernism in journalism (according to Daniel Hallin) and have been questioned in recent years by the emergence of new forms of information dissemination, in such a way that it becomes difficult to define clearly what journalism is. In this way, looking at your historical background can help you understand the essence of the activity. The thesis shows that journalism reveals itself from a framework of previous influences, including a set of typical themes, distinct ways of writing and behaving. The origins of these influences can be traced back to Classical Antiquity and relate to the propagation of information considered relevant and true. Such influences can be perceived in Lucan production, so that it can be seen it fossil evidences of journalism.
