Resumo: This dissertation has as its object of study the materialization of Projeto Ético- Político-Profissional do Serviço Social (PEPP)1 - both in its ontological dimension, as in its operationalization and strategic action the social worker s work within CRAS2 in the municipality of Goiânia Go. It aimed to evidence the challenges and possibilities brought to Social Work in the search of the effectiveness of its Ethical- Political Project (PEPP), which is articulated with the commitment to strengthen National Policy for Social Assistance. The changing world of work is contextualized in order to comprehend the working process in which Social Work operates as a profession entered into socio-technical division of labor, highlighting that this suffers the inflections of the socio-historical context, of the production and reproduction of social mechanisms. With the productive restructuring process and the State Reform, there has been an aggravation of the social issue experienced in new sociooccupational spaces. Therefore, the study on the materializing the PEPP involves making critical reflection of changes in the working world for the profession and tune into the most decisive struggles of the working class, that pass for decent working conditions and expansion of rights with a view the extension of social protection with emancipatory perspective.

Procurou-se evidenciar os desafios e as possibilidades postas ao Serviço Social na busca da efetivação de seu Projeto-Ético-Político (PEPP), o qual está articulado ao compromisso de fortalecer a Política Nacional de Assistência Social. Portanto, o estudo sobre a materialização do PEPP do Serviço Social implica fazer reflexão crítica das transformações do mundo do trabalho para a profissão sintonizar com às lutas mais determinantes da classe trabalhadora, que perpassam por condições digna de trabalho e expansão dos direitos, na perspectiva da ampliação da proteção social com perspectiva emancipatória. A materialização do PEPP do Serviço Social estabelece o desafio de consolidar estratégias de efetivação de ações articuladas e uma direção social ético-política, que indica que o caminho que a categoria profissional sintonize com a garantia da assistência social como política social pública e universal.Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-10T10:32:19Z (GMT).
