Resumo: | The general objective of this dissertation was to analyze the experiences of volunteer workers in relation to their work in a religious institution. This is a descriptive and exploratory case study, based on the Psychodynamics of Work, which seeks to unseeand understand the psychic and subjective aspects that emerge from the relationships between work organization and workers. Documentary analysis and individual interviews and clinical analysis of the work were used for data collection. The study was 12 volunteers, aged between 32 and 72 years, of both sexes. The results are presented through three articles. In the first article entitled "Voluntary work, a review", the objective was to conduct a survey of national publications on the CAPES journal portal from 2015 to 2020, on the subject of voluntary work. In the data analysis, it was evidenced that the understanding of the motivations for this work is a complex and individualized challenge, permeated by multiple social constructions. The second article entitled "The organization of work in a religious institution" aimed to analyze the organization of the work of volunteer workers in a religious institution, focusing on socio-professional conditions and relationships. With the beginning of the pandemic, voluntary work in the institution had its conditions and work relationships, before in person altered for remote activities. The relations within the institution were marked by cooperation, communication and recognition of work. The volunteer workers experienced new adaptations and the debates of these problems were carried out in groups to reorganize tasks, exchange teams or demands and, in cases of dissatisfaction, some sought activities in other institutions with the same formatting. The third article entitled "Volunteer work: the experiences of workers" aimed to analyze the subjective mobilization of volunteer workers focusing on the experiences of pleasure-suffering in relation to their work in a religious institution. It was descriptive and exploratory based on the psychodynamics approach of work focusing on subjective mobilization. The experiences of pleasure are linked to satisfaction and engagement where the worker identifies with the task that performs the activity. It verified the presence of freedom and autonomy in the institution. As indicators of experiences of suffering, most volunteers complain about the difficulties in adapting to new technologies and emotional tension due to the lack of face-to-face volunteer work prevented by social isolation resulting from the pandemic. Therefore, the interviewed volunteers stated that the person must have flexibility and dedication to adapt, otherwise his/her performance will not go beyond the context of suffering experiences. Given the global context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the constant transformations in the world of work generated by social isolation, studies in the relationships established by volunteering in new systems of operation were extremely important. Bringing even more challenges to the practice of volunteering, which is based precisely on the donation to the other, on interaction, in delivery and that is in the process of questioning at this moment when the maintenance of life depends precisely on social isolation |

Bringing even more challenges to the practice of volunteering, which is based precisely on the donation to the other, on interaction, in delivery and that is in the process of questioning at this moment when the maintenance of life depends precisely on social isolationA presente dissertação teve como objetivo geral analisar as vivências dos trabalhadores voluntários em relação ao seu trabalho em uma instituição religiosa. No. of bitstreams: 1 Rafael Domenciano Silva.pdf: 2787952 bytes, checksum: a9db5d6f336a842cafdd2c22a0083400 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2025-03-26T18:21:31Z (GMT).
