The socioeconomic theory of Shoshana Zuboff describes the rise of a new economic model, termed Surveillance Capitalism, based on the massive extraction, analysis, and commercialization of personal data, transforming human experience into an exploitable resource. Primarily guided by Zuboff, the research examines how the massive collection of data affects the privacy, autonomy, and identity of children and adolescents, exploring the specific consequences of surveillance capitalism on the (in)effectiveness of the Doctrine of Integral Protection. Ultimately, it proposes the use of neuro-rights as a complementary and adaptive mechanism within the current protective regulatory framework. The general objective is to propose effective legal instruments to ensure the integral protection, absolute priority, and best interests of children and adolescents in the digital surveillance environment. The specific objectives include:(I) exploring the differences and similarities in the historical and social development of the concept of childhood in Europe and Brazil, highlighting the main contributions of Philippe Ariès and Brazilian authors such as Gilberto Freyre and Irene Rizzini;(II) analyzing the development of the Brazilian Menorismo and the social journey of children and adolescents leading to the incorporation of the Doctrine of Integral Protection; (III) examining how the Doctrine of Integral Protection is applied to the digital environment through the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Marco Civil da Internet) and the General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados - LGPD); (IV) understanding Shoshana Zuboff’s theory, the characteristics of Surveillance Capitalism, and its implications for children and adolescents; and (V) demonstrating neuro-rights as an innovative approach to protecting children and adolescents in digital surveillance. Methodologically, the study adopts a sociologicallegal approach, conducting documentary and bibliographic analysis of legislative and theoretical frameworks. The expected results include identifying gaps in existing legislation and proposing guidelines to enhance child and adolescent protection in the digital environment
