Resumo: | The present work approaches the implications of social relations for the constitution of oneself, involving the sociability of students enrolled in integrated technical courses of medium level, who live in boarding school, in a Federal Institute located in the state of Santa Catarina, in the city of Rio do Sul. This is an “ethnographic type” case study (STAKE, 1998), with a qualitative approach and interpretation based on philosophical hermeneutics (GADAMER, 2015). The field of investigation consisted of a thirty-day immersion, traversing the different ambiences of conviviality of the young students in the institution, with longer observation time in the male accommodation. The immersion period was divided into four weeks, one week in each month, from February to May of the year 2018. There were produced: A Roaming Diary (BARBIER, 2007); Comprehensive Interviews (KAUFMANN, 2013), made with twelve randomly selected interlocutors, all belonging to the third year, and Documental Analysis (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 2013). The research findings pointed out an institutionalized scenario, marked by pre-stablished and/or tacit rules added to the constant surveillance where life is managed as a strategy to control the academics, keeping some traces of institutional total (GOFFMANN, 2008). This place populated by young people between 14 and 18 years old, becomes a scenario of diversity of youth culture, where everyday life generates strong friendships, as a result of challenges and possibilities to learn through different processes of sociability, implicated in living and transforming experiences, which are projected in its own constitution (MELUCCI, 2004) of each one of the actors. It was possible to verify that, even in the face of homogenizing strategies, the individual resistance tactics of each cunning youth (CERTEAU, 2014), in the defense of their uniqueness and interests, generate different learnings, which can add to the knowledge of each one, offering unparalleled possibilities of enlargement and fusion of horizons, that reverberate positively in the preparation for what os to come. It is believed that this work can contribute to the deepening of the understanding of the relationships stablished between young people and how these relationships which can contribute to the formation of their identities in the process of constitution of themselves. |

It is believed that this work can contribute to the deepening of the understanding of the relationships stablished between young people and how these relationships which can contribute to the formation of their identities in the process of constitution of themselves.O presente trabalho aborda as implicações das relações sociais para a constituição de si, envolvendo a sociabilidade de estudantes matriculados em cursos técnicos integrados de nível médio, que vivem em regime de internato, em um Instituto Federal localizado no estado de Santa Catarina, na cidade de Rio do Sul. No. of bitstreams: 1 FINAL_Tese_Emerson_17-04-2019 (004).pdf: 20112662 bytes, checksum: 6345dda6402f0d7030c65cf7540be164 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Sheila Dias (sheila.dias@pucrs.br) on 2019-05-20T16:39:36Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 FINAL_Tese_Emerson_17-04-2019 (004).pdf: 20112662 bytes, checksum: 6345dda6402f0d7030c65cf7540be164 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2019-05-20T16:51:20Z (GMT).
