The challenges faced by large organizations to maintain and improve their positioning in the face of market competitiveness reveal, in addition to some problems, many opportunities, requiring, mainly, a systematic view of increasingly rapid adaptations. In this way, organizational agility has become a fundamental approach to facing the challenges of complex and constantly changing environments, enabling companies to expand their ability to meet market demands with more flexibility and speed. The objective of this research was to verify, within a financial institution, the current level of maturity of organizational agility, according to the perception of professionals in the areas of business and information technology (IT). In an adapted way and only as a guideline in conducting the interviews, Roy Wendler's organizational agility maturity assessment model was applied. Where the interviews were individually semi-structured, carried out with 08 professionals from the business and information technology (IT) areas, aimed at the dissemination and development of organizational agility. The results indicated the maturity level one - basic notions of agility, pointing to a movement towards a change in organizational mentality, highlighting the main aspects that drive agile transformation, based on the elements of technology, leadership and innovation.
