We sought to understand the representations and the dimension of the cultural experience from the desire to displace the subjects, and how these reasons why people travel contributed and contributes to orientations of the style and way of life in Anápolis (GO), through the movements, interests, perceptions of travel from an interdisciplinary reflection, through the survey and cataloguing of documents, records and images from the archives of the Alderico Borges de Carvalho Historical Museum, where the form and habits of travel and travelers in Anapolina society is presented. Aiming to elucidate, which dimension the human displacement, acquires territorially and its intentions in the context of contemporary Annapolis. To direct the research, this work unfolds through a qualitative research of exploratory, bibliographic and dialectical character. That said, it is observed that the passage of travelers and their movements through the nineteenth and twentieth century left its mark on the region and is an important part of the history of Anápolis and Goiás. However, the tourist movement caused by its potentialities occurs spontaneously, without the public power being municipal or even state promoting actions in order to dynamize these actions that already occur.
