result, the geographical space has been building by it. In the nineteenth century, the market economy arose and the merchandise assumed commands of values which established new relations of consumption to the society. In the purpose to attend the new demands which are constantly instigated, people have submitted to the impositions from this economic system and achieved an exarcebated consumption. However, as the spreading of property and services aren´t spacially homogeneous, the consumer many times needs to submit himself/herself to the physical mobility to have access to specific merchandises offered in the biggest centers. This populational flux which establishes itself in the relationship among the cities it is denominated by us as Mobility of Consumption. A notion which we introduced in this dissertation from a larger structure theoric: Human Mobility. We privileged in this research the moviment which converges in Maringá city, in the state of Paraná, resulting mainly from the cities which compose its urban net. It is treated as a medium-city localized in Paranaense Central North Region which developed and consolidated itself as a regional pole. This city, since its beginning, was projected to be a regional pole, as by the Govern of the State as by the colonialist company. Nowadays, this city has established new ways to keep this role and, because of it, its commercial sector has been investing massively in manners that confer a new urban landscape, capable to keep the supremacy of the pole-city in the presence of the population of its influence area. The Mobility of Consumption proposed in this study occurs in meaningful volume and unleashes a regional spacial production. This process has occured in a redundant way due to progresses from the Technical Way and from the Scientific Technical Way, changing the patterns of consumption from this regional population, inserting it in the global/national circuit.
