Resumo: This research discusses and problematizes the situations through which a considerable part of the population of Mozambique passed between the years of 1974/1980, a period that includes the end of Portuguese colonization and the establishment of the Marxist-Leninist Regime in the Government of Samora Moisés Machel after independence. The situations referred to relate to the so-called Cleaning Operation. The action took place in the independent government that tried to remove from Mozambican society those who fell into the categories of unemployed, healers, régulos, Jehovah's Witnesses, women, prostitutes, people who could practice the vices of the colonial period or needed "re-education" to enter the new time in Mozambique. The operation known as "cleaning" or "Operation production" was a practice and a difficult moment in the recent Republic of Mozambique, which created the so-called reeducation fields, where people were sent out of society and banished to this state-projected space. The fictional work of Mozambicans, João Paulo Borges Coelho, Campo de Trânsito (2007) and Between Silent Memories (2013), by Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa, are representations that allow investigating the modus operandus in Mozambican society, from what the postcolonial government called Operation Cleaning and Operation Production. The thesis is based on the Postcolonial Theory and some slopes derived from it, investigate in the fiction of Borges Coelho and Ba Ka Khosa, as it was given the representation of the events mentioned such operation and from review and bibliographical survey, research in newspapers of the time and reports of survivors. The cleaning operation in Mozambique was a breakup of this society and that these camps not only faced Mozambique as a decolonizing nation, but also the civil rights of hundreds of Mozambicans who had their lives interrupted, abducted and violated. The questions that pervade the Postcolonial and the newly liberated nations, whose liberation and freedom do not reach all, and which many, because they do not share the same opinion or are suspected of opposing the current regime of a people, freedom does not reach everyone and many because they do not have the same opinion or at least suspect opponents of the current regime. The use of the banishment to camps full of violence, barbarism and imposition of a single order and thought represents the lack of a citizen policy, respecting freedom of thought.

As situações as quais referidas dizem respeito à chamada Operação limpeza. A ação se efetivou no governo independente que tentou retirar da sociedade moçambicana aqueles que se enquadraram nas categorias de desocupados, curandeiros, régulos, Testemunhas de Jeová, mulheres, prostitutas, pessoas que poderiam praticar os vícios do período colonial ou precisassem de ―reeducação‖ para adentrar no novo tempo em Moçambique. A operação denominada de ―limpeza‖ ou ―Operação produção‖, foi uma prática e um momento difícil na recente República de Moçambique, que criou os campos ditos de reeducação, para onde enviavam as pessoas retiradas da sociedade e banidas para esse espaço projetado pelo Estado. A obra ficcional dos moçambicanos, João Paulo Borges Coelho, Campo de Trânsito (2007) e Entre Memórias Silenciadas (2013), de Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa, encontram-se representações que permitem investigar o modus operandus na sociedade moçambicana, a partir daquilo que o governo pós-colonial denominou de Operação limpeza e Operação produção. A tese se socorre da Teoria Pós-colonial e algumas vertentes dela derivadas, investigar na ficção de Borges Coelho e Ba Ka Khosa, como se deu a representação dos eventos mencionados, tal operação e a partir de revisão e levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisa em jornais da época e relatos dos sobreviventes. A Operação limpeza em Moçambique, foi um momento de cisão dessa sociedade e que os tais campos não só afrontaram o Moçambique enquanto nação que se descolonizava, como os direitos civis de centenas de moçambicanos que tiveram suas vidas interrompidas, sequestradas e violadas. Objetivamos visibilizar e incetar sobre o debate as questões que permeiam o Pós-colonial e as nações recém-libertas, que cuja libertação e liberdade não chega a todos e pelo fato de muitos não terem a mesma opinião ou serem suspeitos de oposição ao regime vigente de um povo. O recurso do banimento para campos cheios de violência, barbárie e imposição de uma única ordem e pensamento representa a falta de uma política cidadã, respeitando a liberdade de pensamento.application/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Literatura e Interculturalidade - PPGLIUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPCIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADASLiteratura pós-colonialCampos de reeducaçãoJoão Paulo Borges CoelhoUngulani Ba Ka KhosaMoçambiqueOperação produçãoTensões do pós-colonial nas obras Campo de trânsito de João Paulo Borges Coelho e Entre memórias silenciadas de Ungulani Ba Ka Khosainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisBezerra, Rosilda AlvesTeixeira, João Batistainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBORIGINALTESE - JOÃO BATISTA TEIXEIRA.pdfTESE - JOÃO BATISTA TEIXEIRA.pdfapplication/pdf1156937https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/e0039ad0-81df-4976-bbaf-8de2cb89ef77/download1312ad856132e3bfb82b161634de3f5bMD52trueAnonymousREADLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
