Microbiologia do solo no ensino médio do Município de Lavras - MG: um estudo de viabilidade

The most of didactic materials profited to the teaching of Biology in schools of Lavras - MG., doesn´t approach the soil microorganisms. Although the agricultural and environment importance of them, they are neglected in the High Schools. Aiming to evaluate the students´ perception changes of some High Schools of Lavras city about Soil Microbiology, three schools were selected, being two publics and one private school. Questionnaires were put into practice to have an outline of the students and of the teachers, to evaluate the student´s specific knowledges about microorganisms, to know the teachers´ opinions about the teaching of soil microbiology in High School and finally to evaluate the student´s perception about Soil Microbiology. This last questionnaire had a reflexive-type, made up 6 closed questions with four alternatives each one that lead the students to think about their actions, the questions were provocative. An interdisciplinary methodology was used to work this subject through lectures, workshops, classes and practical works with the students of the high school. The results were analyzed through descriptive statistic that allowed concluding that, it is possible to work the Soil Microbiology in High School, in the content of Biology. It enabled to us create a didactic support material to the teachers of Biology. The analysis of the results enabled still to conclude that there was difference of Soil Microbiology perception among students of public and private schools. This difference can be ascribed at the time of the students in the school (morning and night shift) or others factors like social and cultural factors, intrinsic to each one.
