Resumo: | The strawberry is a culture of high economic impact to producers in Brazil, with great emphasis on the state of Minas Gerais, where the largest area of cultivation is concentrated in the South, which has areas with altitudes ranging from approximately 800m and 1400m altitude, with different air temperatures. The planting in the region runs from March to May. Thus the aim of this work the evaluation of yield of strawberry plants in different growing seasons in southern state of Minas Gerais. The experiment was conducted in the City of Good Home, using four cultivars (Aroma, Camarosa, Festival and Oso Grande) and four planting dates (May, June, July and August) of 2007. The experimental design was a randomized block design (RBD) with five replications in a split plot, constituting the main plots planting dates and cultivars the sub-plots. The harvest began in August and ended in February, where he established a harvest time of 4 months for each planting season. We evaluated the following characteristics: number of total fruits, numbers of commercial fruits, numbers of non-marketable fruits, fruit weight Overall, mass of marketable fruits and fruit mass non-commercial. In the chemical analysis of fruits were evaluated: total soluble solids, titratable acidity, firmness and soluble solids / total acidity. For number of total fruits, numbers of commercial fruits occurred significant effects planting season (EP), cultivars (C) and (EP) x (C). For numbers of unmarketable fruits significant effects occurred only for planting dates and cultivars. For the mass of total fruits, weight of marketable fruits and weight of unmarketable fruits occurred significant effects for factors planting dates, cultivars and planting date (Ep) x Cultivar (C). Total soluble solids, there were no significant differences for Total Titratable Acidity effects were significant only for growing, for firmness were no significant effects. For soluble solids / total acidity effects were significant only for cultivars. |

For soluble solids / total acidity effects were significant only for cultivars.O morangueiro é uma cultura de grande expressão econômica para produtores brasileiros, com destaque para Minas Gerais, onde a maior área de cultivo concentra-se no sul do estado, que apresenta regiões com altitudes que variam entre 800 m e 1.400 m de altitude, aproximadamente, e diferentes temperaturas. O plantio na região vai de março a maio. Objetivou-se, com a realização deste trabalho, avaliar a produtividade de cultivares de morangueiros em diferentes épocas de plantio na região sul do estado de Minas Gerais. O experimento foi conduzido no município de Bom Repouso, utilizando-se quatros cultivares (Aroma, Camarosa, Festival e Oso Grande) e quatro épocas de plantio (maio, junho, julho e agosto) de 2007. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso (DBC), com cinco repetições, em esquema de parcelas subdivididas. As parcelas principais constituíram as épocas de plantio e as cultivares, as subparcelas. A colheita teve início no mês de agosto e foi encerrada no mês de fevereiro, estabelecendo-se um tempo de colheita de quatro meses para cada época de plantio. Foram avaliadas as seguintes características: números de frutos totais, números de frutos comerciais, números de frutos não comerciais, massa de frutos totais, massa de frutos comerciais e massa de frutos não comerciais. Nas análises químicas dos frutos foram avaliados: sólidos solúveis totais, acidez total titulável, firmeza de polpa e relação sólidos solúveis totais/acidez total titulável. Para números de frutos totais e números de frutos comerciais ocorreram efeitos significativos para época de plantio (EP), cultivares (C) e (EP) x (C). Para números de frutos não comerciais ocorreram efeitos significativos só para épocas de plantio e cultivares. Para massa de frutos totais, massa de frutos comerciais e massa de frutos não comerciais ocorreram efeitos significativos para os fatores épocas de plantio, cultivares e época de plantio (Ep) x cultivares (C).
