Resumo: The main objective of this research was to evaluate the internal conditions of the environment in two commercial broiler houses equipped with two different cooling systems: wet cellulose pads associated with nebulization (SRPN) and wet black screen pads associated with nebulization (SRSN). In the broiler houses, located in Itaberaí-GO country, the broiler production and human working environment was evaluated using variables related to thermal, acoustic and luminous environment and variables related to physiological responses and productive development of the poultries. Based on thermal confort indexes, it was concluded that broilers were under stress conditions during the hottest hours of the day (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) in both broiler houses evaluated. Moderate stress condition was verified for the workers continuously explored to the broiler house internal environment. The sound pressure and illuminance levels were below the threshold recommended for humans according to Brazilian and internationals legislations.

Nos galpões, situados no município de Itaberaí - GO foi avaliado o ambiente de produção de frangos de corte e de trabalho humano por meio das variáveis relacionadas ao ambiente térmico, acústico e luminoso e, às respostas fisiológicas e ao desempenho produtivo das aves. Conclui-se que para as condições térmicas ambientais apresentadas, com base nos índices de conforto térmico, os frangos de corte estiveram em condições de estresse por calor nos dois galpões avaliados, nas horas mais quente do dia (10h00min às 18h00min) e em relação aos trabalhadores avícolas, ambos os galpões apresentaram valores médios considerados moderados para exposição continua ao ambiente interno.
