Language carries meanings that are socio-historically constructed, reflecting on how such meanings are constituted is to seek to contribute to the understanding of the fabric of hegemonic power established in society, since language acts in the architecture of the dominant ideology. The general objective of this master's dissertation is to analyze the constitution of the discursive ethos of Parliamentarian Tábata Amaral, as a political instance, on the social network Instagram, in its articulation with the social construction of the female subject. As specific objectives it is intended: a) to investigate the production process of selected discourses from the concepts of subject, semiotization of the world and communication contract of the Semiolinguistic Theory; b) identify which imaginary sociodiscoursive emerge from the speeches given by Tábata Amaral and relate them to the socio-historical and ideological constructions that involve the feminine; c) describe the modes of organization of discourse, focusing on the enunciative aspect and d) analyze Instagram as a device for creating and transmitting political discourse. Our research assumes a theoretical-methodological and qualitative methodology, in which we seek in the Semiolinguistic Theory of Discourse by Patrick Charaudeau (2001, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2017, 2018, 2019a, 2019b, 2020) the guiding theoretical foundations of the work, as well as presenting a historical journey about the feminist movement and the struggle for the right to vote, mainly from Telles (1999), Duarte (2019) Hahner (2003), Silva (2013) and Alves (2019). In order to understand the functioning and particularities of the Instagram device, we take as a theoretical basis the studies by Recuero, Bastos and Zago (2020) and Castells (2021). It is expected, in this way, to contribute to gender studies in discursive analysis, with the expansion of reflections on how the feminine is placed in a patriarchal society, whose social imaginary that surrounds the figure of the politician permeates the masculine gender. In addition, we seek to bring contributions within the scope of political discourse, which is inserted in a new device used as a transmission channel for the act of communication: Instagram. In this investigation, we found that in non-electoral periods, the enunciator uses, as a priority, ethé linked to reason and credibility and evokes her academic path as a persuasion strategy for the citizen instance. During the 2022 election period, the speeches figure ethé associated with affection, with imaginary sociodiscursive linked to religion, such as guilt and redemption, but also imaginaries related to a heroic trajectory, the academic trajectory, at that moment, is mobilized in order to move the citizen body.
