Resumo: This dissertation presents an investigation upon the practice of philosophical reading with High School students of IFMA Campus Barra do Corda. The problem presented was ba sed on the following question: how to develop the skills to carry out a philosophical reading of the textual genres: poetry, music lyrics, news reports, newspaper/magazine articles and philosophical texts based on Gadamer's hermeneutics? Faced with this pr oblem the central objective of this research is to develop the skills of philosophical reading applied to these different genres based on the philosophical hermeneutics of Hans Georg Gadamer. Therefore this is a qualitative hermeneutic research that aims t o propose a methodology of philosophical reading for philosophy teaching in High School. The dissertation also presents: the main concepts about the Gadamerian categories tradition, fusion of horizons, prejudice, authority and effectual history; explains w hat constitutes a philosophical reading; conceptions of reading and what are textual genres, their main characteristic and importanc e as an instrument of language.

O problema apresentado se deu a partir da seguinte questão: como desenvolver as competências para realizar uma leitura filosófica dos gêneros textuais: poesias, letras de músi ca, reportagens, artigos de jornal/revistas e textos filosóficos, tendo como base a hermenêutica gadameriana? Diante desse problema, o objetivo central desta pesquisa é desenvolver as competências da leitura filosófica aplicada a esses diferentes gêneros t extuais com base na hermenêutica filosófica de Hans Georg Gadamer. É, portanto, uma pesquisa qualitativa hermenêutica que traz como meta propor uma metodologia de leitura filosófica para o ensino da filosofia no Ensino Médio. A dissertação apresenta ainda: os conceitos principais sobre as categorias gadamerianas: tradição, fusão de horizontes, preconceito, autoridade e história efeitual; explicita o que constitui uma leitura filosófica; concepções de leitura e o que são gêneros textuais, suas principais car acterística e importância como instrumento da linguagem.
