Resumo: | The current transformation in electric power systems consists of modernizing the technologies of generation, transmission, distribution, and end use of electric power, enabling end users to participate more in the planning and operation of the system. Microgrids are significant parts of this transformation at various voltage levels of operation. This work aims to promote the regulation of active and reactive power flow in the point of common coupling (PCC) of an AC micro-grid and the low voltage distribution network. This regulation is performed through a hierarchical control structure, where the centralized power-based control (PBC) technique is applied at the second control level of the microgrid. The objective of using the power-based control technique in the developed microgrid is to promote proportional power sharing among the distributed energy resources (DERs), enable operation in islanded and connected mode, and ensure active and reactive power control of the grid. The architecture of the proposed microgrid is composed of six single-phase converters in full-brigde configuration, three connected between phase-neutral and three with phase-phase connection to the distribution system. The results were obtained through computer simulations and validated in an experimental prototype developed in the laboratory, where it was possible to verify the proportional power sharing between the EEDs, with the micro-grid operating in connected and islanded mode and it was observed the ability to perform the active and reactive power control in the PCC, reaching the objectives proposed by the research work. |
