Resumo: This dissertation discusses and analyzes the first transposition to theater of the literary work Grande Sertão: Veredas (1956) by writer João Guimarães Rosa from Minas Gerais, written and staged in 1985 by Cia Sonho & Drama. In this path, I investigate the history of Carlos Rocha through the arts and the emergence of an important Minas Gerais company, in a context linked to the Grupo Theater movement in Belo Horizonte, in the 1980s. Focusing on the act of the playwriting and the passage of literary work to the stage, the author narrate, describe and comment on what was unique in the construction of this script, making visible the paths taken in the company's creative process and the impact of the choices made in its assembly. The dissertation dialogues with the concepts of theatrical transcreation, bricolage and cartography, in a process in which dramaturgical maps can represent works in process and present the I- other-in-the-world interaction. The research concludes as the possibility of using different narratives, as an inventive act that escapes from a writing of the dramatic theater tradition, approaching new writings for the scene, in its multiple possibilities, showing the playwright in a new role: in search of a collectivity of voices, in processes inhabited in a common territory, in the interaction between artists, in an act of its own poetics and shared poetry.

Nesse trajeto, investiga a história de Carlos Rocha pelas artes e o surgimento da importante companhia mineira, em um contexto ligado ao movimento do Teatro de Grupo em Belo Horizonte, na década de 1980. Tendo como foco a dramaturgia e a travessia da obra literária para o palco, o autor narra, descreve e comenta o que foi singular na construção desse roteiro, tornando visíveis os caminhos percorridos no processo criativo da companhia e o impacto das escolhas em sua montagem. A dissertação dialoga com os conceitos da transcriação teatral, da bricolagem e da cartografia, em um processo em que os mapas dramatúrgicos podem representar trabalhos em processo e apresentar a interação eu-outro-no-mundo.
