The present study aims to discuss the indigenous practices of the Xukuru do Ororubá people in the formation of their warriors, who inhabit the Semi-Arid region of Pernambuco, in the municipalities of Pesqueira and Poção-PE. Indigenous religions in Brazil, especially in the Northeast, have been denied recognition as historical and sociocultural religions. The Xukuru do Ororubá people have experienced various processes of criminalization and denial of rights until the conquest of their territory. Rituals have always been fundamental for resistance, affirmation, and the formation of warriors throughout the mobilization process, with religion playing a key role. The general objective of the research was to analyze the configuration of Xukuru do Ororubá's religious practices in the Sacred Rituals and how these practices constitute the formation of indigenous warriors through the action of the Enchanted Force, for mobilizations in defense of their rights and their traditional territory. This qualitative, phenomenological research was conducted through interviews guided by religious leaders who experienced the entire process of struggle for the recovery and defense of their territories, including their sacred spaces. The research instruments included participant observation, field diaries, and semi-structured interviews. A cell phone and a camera were used to capture audio and images throughout the field research. The results highlight how this people, with an ancestral and Roman Catholic tradition, express their religion in a cosmology that includes various aspects and enchanted forces, affirming ancestral forces, the ancestors in the indigenous territory, and the sacred places, their terreiros, spaces of learning, and beyond the territory, in the mobilization spaces outside the territory.
