Defesa: Curitiba, 30/11/2015Inclui referências : p. 214-228Resumo: O tema dessa pesquisa refere-se ao Ensino de Ciências nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, cujo objetivo geral é pesquisar e analisar as ações educativas desenvolvidas pelos professores que lecionam Ciências no Ciclo II do Ensino Fundamental da rede municipal de Curitiba, a fim de identificar se tais ações contribuem para o processo de alfabetização científica e tecnológica dos estudantes. Este objetivo geral surgiu a partir da seguinte indagação: Como as ações educativas desenvolvidas pelos professores de Ciências da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Curitiba contribuem para processo de alfabetização científica e tecnológica dos estudantes do Ciclo II do Ensino Fundamental? A fim de responder o problema de pesquisa, o objeto de estudo dessa investigação foram as ações educativas realizadas pelos docentes atuantes nesta etapa de ensino que lecionam Ciências Naturais. O gênero da presente investigação é a pesquisa empírica, e esta possui abordagem qualitativa de natureza interpretativa. A constituição dos dados ocorreu mediante entrevistas com nove professoras e observações de suas aulas, bem como por meio de análise documental do documento Diretrizes Curriculares para a Educação Municipal de Curitiba, mais especificamente o capítulo que se refere ao Ensino de Ciências, e dos planos de aulas das professoras colaboradoras. Para análise dos dados utilizou-se a Análise Textual Discursiva de Moraes e Galiazzi (2011). Mediante as análises realizadas concluiu-se que as professoras colaboradoras da pesquisa desconhecem o termo alfabetização científica e tecnológica, no entanto, realizam vários encaminhamentos pedagógicos que são importantes para o desenvolvimento da ACT, a saber: as professoras consideram o conhecimento prévio dos estudantes, e para isso realizam a roda de conversa como uma estratégia de ensino; as docentes compreendem o Ensino de Ciências Naturais como uma área importante para que o estudante tenha compreensão do mundo e que os conteúdos propostos fazem parte do dia-a-dia do educando; as educadoras realizam pesquisas referentes aos temas que serão desenvolvidos em aula em diversas fontes de pesquisa, sendo isso verificado nos planos de aula; as professoras utilizam diferentes recursos didáticos, não se restringindo apenas ao quadro de giz e ao livro didático; as educadoras planejam diferentes estratégias com o propósito de desenvolver os conteúdos de Ciências, como a rodas de conversa, a leitura de textos informativos e a pesquisa, não realizando apenas questionários; e desenvolvem temas que contemplam a articulação entre Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade. Estas ações educativas desenvolvidas pelas professoras, bem como a compreensão que possuem em relação ao Ensino de Ciências Naturais, já são indicativos de que essas docentes estão num caminho viável para o desenvolvimento da ACT dos estudantes do Ciclo II do Ensino Fundamental. A pesquisa possibilitou compreender melhor o trabalho desenvolvido pelas professoras colaboradoras do Ciclo II, que lecionam Ciências Naturais na rede municipal de Curitiba, identificando as potencialidade e fragilidades nas ações educativas desenvolvidas pelas docentes. Esta pesquisa contribuiu para uma melhor reflexão sobre as ações formativas para os cursos de formação continuada mantidos pela mantenedora, bem como para a formação inicial.Abstract: The subject matter of this research refers to the Science Teaching in the early years of the Elementary School, which main objective is research and analyze the educative actions developed by the teachers that are responsible for the Science education in the Cycle II of the Elementary School in the municipal network of Curitiba, in order to identify if this actions contribute to the process of scientific and technological alphabetization of the students. This main objective emerged from the following inquire: How this educative actions developed by the Science teachers from the municipal network of Curitiba contribute to the process of scientific and technological alphabetization of the students from the Cycle II of the Elementary School? In order to answer the problem of the research, the object of study of this investigation were the educative action realized by the teachers that are active in this stage of the education that are responsible for the Natural Science discipline. The kind of this investigation is the empirical research, and this one has a qualitative approach of interpretative nature. The formation of data occurred by interviews with nine teachers and observations in your classes, as well as by documental analysis of Curriculum Guidelines to the Municipal Education of Curitiba, but specifically the chapter that refers to the Science Teaching, and lesson plans of the collaborating teachers. To analyze the data it was used the Textual Discursive Analyze of Moraes and Galiazzi (2011). Upon the accomplishedanalysis, it was concluded that the collaborating teachers are unaware of the term about the scientific and technological alphabetization, however, they accomplish several education actions that are important to the ACT development, to know: the teachers consider the previous knowledge of the students, and for that they use the conversation circle as strategy of teaching; the teachers comprehend the Natural Science Teaching as an important field for students to have knowledge of the world and that the classes are part of the day-to-day of the educating; the teachers do researches about the themes that are going to be developed in the class, it was verified in the lessons guidelines; the teachers use different didactic resources, don?t restricting to only to the blackboard and the didactic books; the educating plan different strategies with the purpose of develop the matters of Science, as the conversations circle, the reading of informative texts and the research, not doing only questionnaires; and develop themes about the articulation between the Science, Technology, and Society. This education actions developed by the teachers, as well as the comprehension that they have in relation by the Natural Science Teaching, are indicative that this educating are in a viable path to the ACT development of the students from the Cycle II of Elementary School. The research enabled better comprehend the work made by the collaborating teachers of the Cycle II, that lecture Natural Science in the municipal network of Curitiba, identifying the potentialities and fragilities in the educative actions developed by the teachers.
