Protocolo gráfico para avaliação do cuidado seguro em enfermagem no contexto hospitalar ao indivíduo com alteração no estado mental: estudo de validação

Safety in the care of individuals with altered mental status hospitalized for years was neglected, so when considering specificities, it is necessary to qualify professionals and services to minimize the risks associated with care. Thus, nursing plays an important role in the development of safer actions, since it has continuous performance during the hospitalization period. Thus, the importance of implementing periodic measures in the services performed for the implementation of periodic security measures was highlighted, as well as the importance of increasing security. From this perspective, the present study has as its evaluative question: What should be the content and appearance of a protocol for the evaluation of safe nursing care in the hospital context for the individual with north mental status distinction? And, it aimed to develop a protocol in its content and appearance for the evaluation of valid nursing care in the hospital context to the safe individual of mental state. This is a methodological study with a mixed approach, based on Pasquali's psychometry, organized in procedures: Workshops, in which three focus groups were carried out with 13 mental health professionals and a Scoping Review on safe care for the individual with evaluation of the mental state to define the contents of the protocol; empirical procedures for the construction of the graphic protocol and checklist, and validation of the content and appearance through the Delphi technique, in two rounds, with the collaboration of seven judges/experts in the area in question; and procedures, intended for the analysis of the analytical data in which the Content Validation Coefficient is calculated. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee, under the Ethics Assessment Certificate No. 48213421.0.0000.5537. The focus groups lasted 45 minutes each, the nurses addressed actions they perform and what they need to develop in order to obtain safe care. With the focal data and the evaluation of the judgments and verification of verification, which were the groups selected to the evaluation of the judges that were valid. In the Delphi round, a validity coefficient of general ≥0.95 was achieved in all elements of the protocol and checklist, while in the presentation protocol for the content of the Suitability Assessment of Materials protocol, indexes of 0.90 were obtained. After adjustments proposed by the judges, in round II the content and appearance validity indexes were 0.99 each. Thus, the graphic protocol was considered valid in its content and appearance.
