Resumo: Introduction: Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) caused 17.9 million deaths worldwide in 2016, representing 31% of all global deaths from non-communicable diseases. Considered as a CVD, Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) is also an important risk factor for cardiovascular complications. Several markers are related to SAH, mainly inflammatory markers, such as cytokines. Regular physical exercise can significantly reduce the risk of cardiovascular mortality by up to 60%. Objective: To evaluate the effect of aerobic training on plasma cytokine concentrations in hypertensive individuals. Methods: Controlled clinical trial. Approved by the CEP of the Federal University of Alfenas – MG with Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trial. Recruitment period September 2018 to February 2020. 100 participants were allocated and divided into intervention group and control group, ending with 77 individuals. At the beginning and at the end of the study, participants underwent blood collection and evaluation for further analysis of plasma cytokine levels. For the statistical analysis, the normality test was initially performed through the Shapiro - Wilk analysis and then, for the parametric variables, the paired T tests and the T test were used and for the nonparametric variables the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: The results of this study show a significant reduction in SBP [95% CI -8.33 (133.05 to 124.72)] and DBP [95% CI -5.27 (82.22 to 76.94)], increased expiratory muscle strength [95% CI 15.08 (92.61 to 107.69)] and the distance covered in the 6-minute walk test minutes [95% CI 85.56 (406.26 to 491.82)] in the exercised group when compared to baseline values and when compared to the CG. In addition, the individuals who underwent aerobic training showed an improvement in quality of life when compared to CG. Plasma cytokine analysis demonstrated that there was no difference within groups when compared to baseline values and between groups. Conclusion: The present study demonstrated that aerobic training in addition to promoting benefits for quality of life hypertensive individuals, reduced blood pressure levels and benefited from physical conditioning, without altering the levels of inflammatory cytokines. Inas did not demonstrate to be involved with the genesis of SAH, as well, the aerobic training did not interfere in its levels.

Considerada como uma DCV, a Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica (HAS) constitui também um importante fator de risco para complicações cardiovasculares. Diversos marcadores estão relacionados à HAS, principalmente marcadores inflamatórios, tais como citocinas. A prática regular de exercícios físico pode diminuir expressivamente o risco de mortalidade cardiovascular em até 60%. Objetivo: Avaliar o efeito do treinamento aeróbico nas concentrações plasmáticas de citocinas em indivíduos hipertensos. Método: Ensaio clínico controlado. Aprovado pelo CEP da Universidade Federal de Alfenas–MG com Registro Brasileiro de Ensaio Clínico. Período de recrutamento setembro de 2018 a fevereiro de 2020. Alocados 100 participantes e divididos em grupo intervenção que foi submetido a 36 sessões de atividade aeróbica, 3 vezes por semana e grupo controle, finalizando com 77 indivíduos. No início e no final do estudo, os participantes foram submetidos a avaliação e coleta de sangue para posterior análise dos níveis plasmáticos de citocinas. Para a análise estatística, inicialmente foi realizado o teste de normalidade através da análise de Shapiro – Wilk e em seguida, paras as variáveis paramétricas foi utilizado os testes T pareado e teste T, para as variáveis não paramétricas os Testes de Wilcoxon e Mann-Whitney. Resultados: Os resultados deste estudo mostram uma redução significativa na PAS [ 95% IC -8,33 (133,05 a 124,72)] e PAD [95% IC -5,27 (82,22 a 76,94)], aumento da força muscular expiratória [95% IC 15,08 (92,61 a 107,69)] e da distância percorrida no teste de caminhada de 6 minutos [95% IC 85,56 (406,26 a 491,82)] no grupo exercitado quando comparado a valores basais e quando comparado ao GC. Além disso, os indivíduos que realizaram treinamento aeróbico apresentaram uma melhora na qualidade de vida quando comparado ao GC. A análise de citocinas plasmáticas demonstrou que não houve diferença intra grupo quando comparado a valores basais e entre os grupos. Conclusão: O presente estudo demonstrou que o treinamento aeróbico além de promover benefícios para a qualidade de vida de indivíduos hipertensos, reduziu os níveis pressóricos e beneficiou com o condicionamento físico, não alterando os níveis de citocinas inflamatórios. Além disso as citocinas não demonstraram estarem envolvidas com a gênese da HAS, bem como, o treinamento aeróbico não interferiu em seus níveis.application/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-graduação em Ciências da ReabilitaçãoUNIFAL-MGBrasilInstituto de Ciências da Motricidadeinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Hipertensão arterial sistêmicaTreinamento físicoCitocinasReabilitaçãoCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FISIOTERAPIA E TERAPIA OCUPACIONALEfeito de um programa de exercício aeróbico sobre os níveis plasmáticos de citocinas em indivíduos hipertensosinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion-3982265566208295260600600-4563701660031038789reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALPrado, João PauloLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
