Resumo: This dissertation investigates the presence of listening in eight artistic propositions. As a product, we try to understand the process of how this act of thought occurs and, by creating sound images, moves and positions us. We propose the change of an antagonistic relation with a symptom of tinnitus (buzzing) for a friendship relationship: from this we synthesize the concept of The Fool (El Tonto). In this learning experience, dialoguing with the concepts of Listening by Jean-Luc Nancy, Soundscape by Murray Schafer, Intentionality by Edmund Husserl and Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Sound Object by Pierre Schaeffer, Image by Marie-José Mondain, Logotherapy (search for meaning) of Victor Frankl, Noise between Luigi Russolo and Jojo Hiroshige, Silence between John Cage and Gleen Branca, among others, are exposed ways of thinking about the limits of frequencies in Hertz, of noise and the silence more integrated with a sense of tolerance with this symptom of tinnitus. Thus, I present the works of poetry in the course of Mestrado em Poéticas Visuais (UFRGS-IA-PPGAV, 2016-2018): Frequências Sonoras do Goethe Institut-POA (2016), the exhibition Hertz do lugar onde estamos (2016), A acústica do estacionamento da Fundação Iberê Camargo (2017), 862 Hz (2017), No direito olha o muro - No direito dá as costas pro muro (2017), Un tango por la ventana (2017), Lectura monotonal (2018) y Monotonal (2018).

Como produto, buscamos entender el proceso de cómo ocurre este acto del pensamiento que, al crear imágenes sonoras, nos desplaza y nos posiciona. Por este camino, propoponemos el cambio de una relación antagonista con un síntoma de tinnitus (zumbido) para una relación de amistad: de esto sintetizamos el concepto de El Tonto. En esta experiencia de aprendizaje, al dialogar con los conceptos de Escucha de Jean-Luc Nancy, Paisaje Sonoro de Murray Schafer, Intencionalidad de Edmund Husserl y Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Objeto Sonoro de Pierre Schaeffer, Imagen de Marie-José Mondain, Logoterapia (busca por sentido) de Vida de Victor Frankl, Noise entre Luigi Russolo y Jojo Hiroshige, Silencio entre John Cage y Gleen Branca, entre outros, se exponen formas de pensar sobre los límites de las frecuencias en Hertz, del ruido y del silencio más integradas con un sentido de tolerancia para con este síntoma de tinnitus.
