Resumo: One of the most complex mathematical concepts is the concept of function which has a key role in the description and the study of certain natural phenomena, in particular the physical phenomena. For example, phenomena related to kinematics can be modeled through the concept of function and there exists a clear link between them both. In this work the Uniform Linear Motion (ULM) and the Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (UALM) are presented and studied. Furthermore, an integrated interdisciplinary approach is proposed to study these movements, between functions and kinematics in the physics and math classes in the 9th grade such that the phenomena be treated completely, enriching the study of both mathematical and physical areas. The results of this work show that closer integration between functions and these phenomena (the interdisciplinary between mathematics and physics) could benefit students of the9th grade significantly to understand the concept of linear and quadratic functions and also the linear motions in kinematics

Por exemplo, os fenômenos ligados à cinemática podem ser modelados através do conceito de função e há uma clara relação entre os mesmos. Neste trabalho o Movimento Retilíneo Uniforme (MRU) e o Movimento Retilíneo Uniformemente Variado (MRUV) são apresentados e estudados. Além disso, propomos uma abordagem interdisciplinar integrada no estudo destes movimentos, entre funções e cinemática nas aulas de física e matemática da 1ª série do ensino médio de tal modo que os fenômenos sejam tratados de forma completa enriquecendo o estudo de ambas as áreas do conhecimento, matemática e física.
