The explicit mediation of information in the domain of university libraries and digital natives has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring adaptations and innovations to meet the information needs of this generation familiar with technological resources. The research problem focused on answering how these mediations were carried out to meet the information needs of these users. As a general objective, it investigates the actions of explicit mediation of information, from the period of the pandemic, aimed at digital natives, considering the points of view and indicators of bibliographic productions, historical time and geographical region (budgetary and cultural aspects) in which they were presented. As specific objectives, it identifies the main characteristics and information needs of digital natives, verifies the changes that have occurred in explicit information mediation activities and proposes strategies and recommendations for improving mediation actions. Methodologically, the research uses a qualitative approach, based on an integrative literature review, with data collected from the Information Science Database and Web of Science. As a result, the research shows that university libraries have rapidly adapted their explicit mediation practices to meet the needs of digital natives, intensifying the use of online services, social networks and remote assistance for communication and easier access to information. Virtual events and campaigns to combat disinformation became permanent actions, consolidating the digital model as an essential part of services, complemented by modernized physical spaces. It considers that the effectiveness of these practices has been linked to the continuous adaptation to digital demands, the training of professionals and the encouragement of users' information autonomy. It concludes that innovating services, training professionals and encouraging digital and cultural inclusion have positioned university libraries as strategic spaces for developing the information and critical skills of digital natives.
