O estudo apresenta e reflete sobre uma alternativa para a problemática vivenciada ao longo dos anos no campo educacional, pela sociedade contemporânea, que é a qualidade no ensino e na aprendizagem, na perspectiva de uma aprendizagem significativa articulada com os princípios e recursos da Aprendizagem Cooperativa desenvolvida pelo Programa de Educação em Células Cooperativas (PRECE). Para tanto, a pesquisa se pauta em responder questionamentos como: 1. A adoção da metodologia de estudo em células de aprendizagem cooperativa, na sala de aula, pode tornar-se um dos instrumentos importantes no combate à discriminação social e fator de motivação para a aprendizagem e para a melhoria do rendimento acadêmico dos/as alunos/as? 2. Em que medida a aprendizagem cooperativa contribui para o desenvolvimento de competências atitudinais de alunos e alunas, colaborando para mudanças de posturas positivas? 3. A metodologia é uma estratégia eficaz quando se pretende promover a igualdade de oportunidades, a responsabilidade, a cooperação e a autonomia de alunos e alunas? Para a constatação dos fatos, metodologicamente foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, utilizando-se de informação documental fornecida pela escola e de um questionário comum ao público, com perguntas relacionadas à sua experiência vivenciada na metodologia. A participação dos e das informantes foi autorizada através da assinatura do Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecida (TCLE), conforme recomendam os Critérios da Ética em Pesquisa com Seres Humanos descritos na Resolução nº 466/2012 – item IV do Conselho Nacional de Saúde.This research analyzes the contribution of a study methodology carried out in Cooperative Learning Cells in the personal and social formation of the graduates from the Escola Estadual de Educação Profissional Amélia Figueiredo de Lavor, located in the municipality of Iguatu – Ceará. The study presents and reflects about an alternative for the problem experienced throughout the years in the educational field by contemporary society, which is the quality of teaching and learning, in the perspective of a significant learning articulated with the principles and resources of the Cooperative Learning developed by the Education Program of Education in Cooperative Cells (PRECE). To do this the research is directed to responding questions such as: 1. Can the adoption of the study methodology of cooperative learning cells in the classroom become one of the important instruments in combatting social discrimination and a motivating factor for learning and for improving the academic performance of the students? 2. To what measure does cooperative learning contribute to the development of the attitudinal competencies of students, collaborating toward positive posture changes? 3. Is the methodology an efficacious strategy when one intends to promote equality of opportunities, responsibility, cooperation and the autonomy of students? For gathering the facts, methodologically, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out using documental information furnished by the school and a common questionnaire for the public, with questions related to their experience with the methodology.
