Ao longo dos estudos, busca-se identificar como os princípios norteadores estão presentes nesses educandários a partir da confessionalidade luterana. Como metodologia, opta-se por utilizar o estudo de caso. Para tanto, são selecionadas três instituições filiadas à Rede Sinodal de Educação de portes diferentes, pequeno, médio e grande, localizadas na Região Centro, que abrange os vales dos rios Taquari e Rio Parto. Durante o estudo de caso, são analisados os escritos divulgados pela Rede Sinodal de Educação a respeito da temática e os projetos pedagógicos das três instituições e entrevistados os/as gestores desses educandários. A análise dos dados se deu com base em três pilares: a identidade, a gestão escolar e o projeto pedagógico. Percebe-se que os princípios evangélico-luteranos estão oriundos das ideias de Lutero sobre educação que foram trazidas pelos/as imigrantes alemães durante os séculos XIX e XX na região sul do Brasil. Esses princípios orientam um modo peculiar de gestão, baseada na autonomia de seus educandários, na descentralização dos processos e na participação comunitária. Além disso, essas instituições tem um projeto educacional diferenciado que visa à qualidade e à formação integral dos sujeitos e que é mercado pelas atividades complementares. No entanto, percebe-se que essas instituições necessitam manter a sua autoridade por meio da sua identidade e de seu projeto pedagógico e não mediante uma orientação mercantil. Por fim, o estudo conclui que todas entidades precisam ser embasadas por princípios que devem ser instituídos pela própria instituição, através da visão compartilhada das pessoas que dela fazem parte.This research deals with the Evangelical-Lutheran principles of the Synodical Network of Education. Throughout the studies the quest was to identify how the guiding principles are present in these educational institutions based on the Lutheran confessionality. The methodology chosen was the use of a case study. For such, three institutions members of the Synodical Network of Education of different sizes, small, medium and large, were selected. These institutions are located in the Center Region which covers the valleys of the Taquari and the Rio Parto rivers. During the case study, the writings about the theme and the pedagogical projects of the three institutions divulged by the Synodical Network of Education were analyzed and the directors of these educational institutions were interviewed. The analysis of the data was carried out based on three pillars: identity, school management and the pedagogical project. One can perceive that the Evangelical-Lutheran principles originate from the ideas of Luther about education brought by the German immigrants during the 19th and 20th centuries in the southern region of Brazil. These principles guide a peculiar way of management based on the autonomy of the schools, on the decentralization of the processes and on community participation. Besides this, these institutions have a differentiated educational project which aims at quality and holistic formation of the subjects and is marked by complementary activities. However, one perceives that these institutions need to maintain their authority through their identity and their pedagogical project and not through a mercantile orientation.
