A fenomenologia da Vida entende a Afetividade como condição essencial do ser humano e parte desse paradigma para compreender a educação enquanto ação sensibilizadora, que busca o desenvolvimento das potencialidades de todos os envolvidos, propiciando o encontro desses sujeitos com a Vida. A introdução apresenta a relação entre a Educação de Jovens e Adultos e a fenomenologia da Vida, pensando as possíveis contribuições para as práticas educativas na EJA. O primeiro capítulo aborda os sujeitos que compõem o cotidiano das escolas, pensando a escola como um lugar de encontros e desencontros que, por vezes, obstaculizam a presença da vida em sua plenitude. A fenomenologia da Vida possibilita um novo olhar para o ser humano, capaz de contribuir para o desenvolvimento dos processos e práticas educativas na EJA. O segundo capítulo trata do enriquecimento mútuo que pode ser estabelecido em uma educação que valorize docentes e discentes, bem como toda a comunidade escolar. É estabelecida uma aproximação entre os pensamentos de Michel Henry e Paulo Freire, ambos pensadores da Vida enquanto práxis encarnada no cotidiano de homens e mulheres de todas as idades. Também é apresentada a dimensão teológica presente na obra dos autores. No terceiro capítulo é destacada a relação entre educação e ética, o que torna possível o encontro e o diálogo entre pessoas de diferentes culturas a partir do respeito às subjetividades e da valorização da diversidade na construção comunitária de relações que potencializam a Vida.This research seeks to establish a dialog between the phenomenology of Life of Michel Henry and education, especially Education for Youth and Adults (EJA). Phenomenology understands Affection as an essential condition of the human being and begins from this paradigm to comprehend education as a sensitizing action which seeks the development of the potentialities of all involved, propitiating the encounter of these subjects with Life. The introduction presents the relation between Education for Youth and Adults and phenomenology of Life thinking of the possible contributions for educational practices in EJA. The first chapter deals with the subjects who make up the daily life of the schools, thinking of the school as a place of encounters and dis-encounters which, sometimes, create obstacles to the presence of life in its fullness. The phenomenology of Life makes it possible for the human being to have a new perspective, able to contribute to the development of the educational processes and practices in EJA. The second chapter deals with the mutual enrichment that can be established in an education which values teachers and students, as well as the whole school community. An approximation between the thinking of Michel Henry and Paulo Freire, both thinkers about Life as an incarnated práxis in the daily life of men and women of all ages, is established. The theological dimension present in the work of the authors is presented as well.
