Neste quadro investigativo, percebe-se que o “forró estilizado” ou “forró eletrônico” tem se destacado cada dia mais entre os adolescentes desta região. As letras das músicas estudadas chamam atenção pela desvalorização do gênero feminino, apologia ao consumo de álcool, entre outros temas que são alvos de protestos e críticas de muitos autores em seus livros, artigos, dissertações e teses. O estudo desse material coletado, relacionado com a análise do contexto local, configura realização deste trabalho que percebe ao final, que há uma relação comprovada entre música e identidade, e que a pessoa humana pode ser influenciada em seus valores e princípios e manipulada em qualquer fase da vida, sobretudo na infância e adolescência. Ao investigar e traçar um resumido perfil do contexto geral da região do Cariri cearense, foram identificados elementos significativos que relacionam a música com a formação de identidade e a partir disto, estabeleceu-se significados e reflexões sobre os resultados obtidos e buscam-se propostas a partir dos dados encontrados. Tendo como uma das bases teóricas Zygmunt Bauman, este trabalho denomina de “música líquida” as composições do forró atual que se distanciam do modelo Luiz Gonzaga e se destacam pela fluidez no que se refere ao sucesso dos cantores, ao tempo que duram as audições das músicas (descartabilidade) e se destacam por mensagens que trivializam as relações amorosas e alguns valores, ideias e conceitos que são importantes para a base da humanidade.This thesis presents the results of a bibliographic research on music as a factor in the formation of identity and looks especially at the youth in the Cariri region of Ceará. In this investigative framework one perceives that the “stylized ‘forró’” or the “electronic ‘forró’” is gaining ever more attention among the adolescents of this region. The words of the songs studied stand out because of the depreciation of the feminine gender, instigation of alcohol consumption, among other themes which are targets of protests and criticisms of many authors in their books, articles, theses and dissertations. The study of the collected material related to the analysis of the local context, configures this paper which perceives, at the end, that there is a proven relationship between music and identity, and that the human person can be influenced in their values and principles and manipulated in any phase of life, above all in infancy and adolescence. Upon investigating and tracing out a summarized profile of the general context of the Cariri region of Ceará, significant elements were identified which relate music to the formation of identity and based on this, meanings and reflections were established about the results obtained and proposals are sought based on the data encountered.
