Study on Community Radio Boa Nova FM the municipality Senhora de Oliveira - MG, with regard to their configurations and relationships with the local community. The objectives are to identify the operating system of community radio as a way to understand how far it falls in oliveirense everyday and articulates the local drive, especially during election periods; determine the type of information conveyed; observe the feeling of listeners for the same. The study is based on bibliographic research to weave theories and guide the whole process of research, and the case study through methodological procedures such as desk research, participatory research and semi - structured interviews, and a survey of receipt by the listeners. We conclude that the Good News Radio that coexists harmoniously with the community communication also established by the speaker articulates a simplistic way information and local culture in their practices because there playing content from mainstream media, besides the fact that no be a wide participation of the community association that is your keeper; also that despite the lack of technical knowledge of most speakers and partisan political relationship present in both the operation of the station as the motivations of communicators, there is compatibility between the radio and conveys the interest of listeners.
