Project management methodology can be defined as a set of methods or best practices to be used in a project. The interest in agile methodologies has grown as they have been identified as one of the factors that contribute to the revolution in the way software development projects are executed and organized, as they suggest a rapid response to customer and market needs, Individuals and interactions, running software, customer collaboration, and response to change. Given this, the need arises to study this theme in diverse contexts within organizations. To observe entrepreneurship at the organizational level, literature has used the concept of entrepreneurial orientation, which can be understood as the long-term direction of entrepreneurship thinking. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between the Entrepreneurial Orientation of organizations and the use of agile methods through a survey conducted with professionals who work or have worked in organizations that adopt or adopt agile methods. The analysis was performed using the statistical modeling technique of structural equations using the partial least squares (PLS) method. As a result, it is presented the characterization of the use of the agile methods in the organizations, as well as the identification of the entrepreneurial orientation. In addition, it was possible to conclude the positive relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation and the use of agile methods in organizations. Regarding the contribution, the present work may be used by researchers for future studies in subjects such as entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial orientation and project management according to precepts of agile metrics. Similarly, validation of the proposed hypothesis may further strengthen the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and agile methods.
