Resumo: The paper proposes to investigate the interfaces of the school architectural project, addressing the universe of the first secondary education institution of the state of São Paulo: São Paulo State School, characterizing the social, historical, political and cultural elements that form and transform the educational times and spaces, through the study of the relationships between the components that intersect education and architecture. Based on bibliographic and also empirical research, developed through documentary analysis, participatory observation in the institution and focus group with the students, the study aims to understand the relationships that constitute space, and how this spatial configuration interferes with the educational process that there it develops, in the light of the critical theory of society. The research aims to offer subsidies that allow the development of formal strategies, so that the institution makes the space more conducive to appropriation, providing its actors with a sense of belonging that favors learning.

Basado en la investigación bibliográfica y también empírica, desarrollada a través del análisis documental, la observación participativa en la institución y un grupo focal con los estudiantes, el estudio tiene como objetivo comprender las relaciones que se constituyen en el espacio y cómo esta configuración espacial interfiere en el proceso educativo que allí se desarrolla, a la luz de la teoría crítica de la sociedad. La investigación tiene como objetivo ofrecer subsidios que permitan el desarrollo de estrategias formales, de modo que la institución haga que el espacio sea más propicio para la apropiación, proporcionando a sus actores un sentido de pertenencia que favorezca el aprendizaje.O trabalho propõe investigar as interfaces do projeto arquitetônico escolar, debruçando-se sobre o universo da primeira instituição de ensino secundário do estado de São Paulo: Escola Estadual São Paulo, caracterizando os elementos sociais, históricos, políticos e culturais, que formam e transformam os tempos e espaços educativos, por meio do estudo das relações entre os componentes que interseccionam a educação e a arquitetura. Com base em pesquisa bibliográfica e também empírica, desenvolvida por meio de análise documental, observação participativa na instituição e de grupo focal junto ao alunado, o estudo objetiva entender as relações que se constituem no espaço, e como essa configuração espacial interfere no processo educacional que ali se desenvolve, à luz da teoria crítica da sociedade.
