Resumo: This present research, reports, through a qualitative approach, the experiences and perceptions of sixteen teachers acting in three different schools belonging to the basic education system of the State of Sao Paulo (Brazil) during the Covid-19 pandemic, from the period of November 2020 until June 2021. It is methodologically structured on theoretical and empirical research methods, whereby data was collected through the use of electronic forms. The questions were elaborated with the goal of contemplating the individual views of each respective teacher in three perspectives: of the tools used, professional practice and personal impressions. In this sense, the questions relate to the challenges, limits, possibilities and the so-called teacher-student relationship. The theoretical referencing is based on the complex thought of Edgar Morin, especially regarding the dialogical principal and the lessons learned from facing the coronavirus pandemic, which were contemplated on recent works published by the author. Other authors who dealt with the pandemic crisis in an educational context were also referenced. The results support that, having in mind the teacher-student relationship, timidity and distant interactions with the students were evidenced, meanwhile showcasing the efforts put on by the teachers, who had to abridge the distancing by "reaching the students", being forced to deal with lack of motivation, tiredness from excessive activities, barriers related to learning, socioeconomical issues and emotional aspects. Furthermore, the potentialities pointed out by the survey were highlighted, such as the practical usefulness of certain tools, increased dynamic, diversification of lessons, and possibilities of instant feedback and interactions. This is a study that retraces present history and may serve as an instrument providing data for contributing with the understanding of such complex happenings such as this current pandemic from an educational context.

El trabajo se estructura en pesquisa teórica y empírica, en la cual los datos fueron obtenidos a través de un formulario electrónico. Las preguntas fueron elaboradas con el propósito de contemplar las visiones de estos profesores bajo tres perspectivas: la perspectiva de las herramientas, de la práctica profesional y sus impresiones personales. En este sentido, las cuestiones abordan los desafíos, límites, posibilidades y la relación profesor-alumno. El referencial teórico está basado en el pensamiento complejo de Edgar Morin, especialmente, en el principio dialógico y en las lecciones del coronavirus tratadas en obra reciente. También se ha hecho uso de las teorías de autores que trataron de la crisis pandémica en el contexto educacional. Los resultados señalan que, considerando la relación profesor – alumno, se puso en evidencia la timidez y el alejamiento de los estudiantes y, al mismo tiempo, el esfuerzo de los docentes en acercarse a los alumnos, manejando la desmotivación, el cansancio por el exceso de tareas, los obstáculos en relación al aprendizaje, cuestiones socioeconómicas y aspectos emocionales. Además, se destacan las potencialidades señaladas por ellos, como la practicidad de determinadas herramientas, el dinamismo y diversificación de las clases y posibilidades de retroalimentación e interacciones instantáneas. Se trata de un estudio que retrata la historia del tiempo presente y un instrumento para contribuir con datos para la comprensión de acontecimientos tan complejos como esta pandemia en el contexto educacional.Esta pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa, trata das experiências e percepções de dezesseis docentes atuantes em três escolas da educação básica da rede estadual de São Paulo, durante o período de enfrentamento da pandemia de Covid-19, entre novembro de 2020 e junho de 2021. Estrutura-se em pesquisa teórica e empírica, na qual os dados foram obtidos por meio de formulário eletrônico. As perguntas foram elaboradas com vistas a contemplar as visões destes professores em três perspectivas: a das ferramentas, a da prática profissional e a das impressões pessoais. Nesse sentido, as questões versam sobre os desafios, limites, possibilidades e a relação professor-aluno. O referencial teórico se baseia no pensamento complexo de Edgar Morin, em especial, no princípio dialógico e nas lições do coronavírus abordadas em obra recente. Recorreu-se também a autores que trataram da crise pandêmica no contexto educacional. Os resultados apontam que, tendo em vista a relação professor-aluno, evidenciou-se a timidez e o distanciamento dos estudantes e, ao mesmo tempo, o esforço dos docentes em “alcançar os alunos”, lidando com a desmotivação, o cansaço pelo excesso de atividades, as barreiras no tocante à aprendizagem, questões socioeconômicas e aspectos emocionais. Além disso, destacam-se as potencialidades apontadas por eles, como a praticidade de determinadas ferramentas, a dinamicidade e diversificação das aulas e possibilidades de feedback e interações instantâneas.
