Resumo: This research studies the curriculum designed to Detention Centers Unidades de Internação UI‟s / Fundação CASA‟ established by Resolution SE Nº 15/2010 and SE Nº 06/2011. The problem leading this investigation is: in which level can the curriculum at Fundação Casa , provided through the project Projeto Revitalizando a Trajetória Escolar , be presented as a practice of humanization and emancipation? It also intends to demonstrate what kind of contribution the Interdisciplinarity provides to the curriculum at Fundação CASA (FAZENDA, 1995)‟. Inspired by Freire‟s contributions it is possible to develop reflections regarding a childcare service, in which the right to life, dignity, recognition, freedom and participation in collective life prevails. The analysis of the curriculum will be based on a critical, reflective and ethical matrix (FREIRE; GIROUX; MOREIRA). The methodological perspective of this research is based on the development of a qualitative study, using the methodology of life history (Josso, 2002), literature, historical and documentary information. Faced with the reality of these atypical teenagers, it is necessary to rethink the curriculum as a humanistic endeavor - an instrument of pedagogical praxis. In the search for the meaning of formal education at Fundação CASA‟, we see some possibilities: the work guided by skills, as provided in the curriculum proposed by the state of São Paulo and the partnership the Interdisciplinary greatest attribute among staff working in the pedagogic area at Fundação CASA‟. O problema que norteia esta investigação é: em que medida o Currículo da Fundação CASA, viabilizado pelo Projeto Revitalizando a Trajetória Escolar, pode se apresentar como prática de humanização e emancipação? Pretende-se também demonstrar que tipo de aporte a Interdisciplinaridade apresenta para o currículo da Fundação CASA (FAZENDA, 1995). À luz das contribuições freireanas, é possível elaborar reflexões acerca de um atendimento socioeducativo pautado numa educação em que prevaleça o direito à existência, à dignidade, ao reconhecimento, à liberdade e à participação na vida coletiva. A análise do currículo se dará a partir de uma matriz crítico, reflexiva e ética (FREIRE; GIROUX; MOREIRA). A perspectiva metodológica desta pesquisa baseia-se no desenvolvimento de uma pesquisa qualitativa, em seus desdobramentos, história de vida (JOSSO, 2002), bibliográfica, histórica e documental. Diante da realidade atípica desses adolescentes, faz-se necessário repensar o currículo como um empreendimento humanístico instrumento de práxis pedagógica. Na busca pelo sentido do ensino formal na Fundação CASA, vislumbramos algumas possibilidades: o trabalho pautado por competências, conforme previsto na proposta curricular do estado de São Paulo e a parceria (atributo maior da Interdisciplinaridade) - entre professores e equipe de trabalho do setor pedagógico da Fundação CASA.
