Resumo: This research aims to study the relationship between the Dispute Settlement System of the World Trade Organization and the human rights issues existing in their demands. Analyzes the international protection of human rights system and its relationship with the jus cogens norms. It studies the International Economic Law and its relationship to the economic development of society. Analyzes the impact of economic systems on the welfare of man and the form of exploration of human beings in each of them. Studies the structure and operation of the World Trade Organization, through the analysis of its principles regarding equal treatment of Member States. Deals with the WTO action in the social economic development of the Organization member countries. Examines the clash between WTO agreements and human rights treaties. Studies the system from the perspective of human rights to show the position of the Organization and the measures taken to address disputes involving violation and degradation of norms protected by the international community. Finally it demonstrates accountability of Member States for violation of norms for the protection of human rights

Analisa o sistema de proteção internacional dos direitos humanos e sua relação com as normas jus cogens. Estuda a evolução do Direito Econômico Internacional e sua relação com o desenvolvimento econômico da sociedade. Analisa o impacto dos sistemas econômicos no bem estar do homem e a forma de exploração do ser humano em cada um deles. Estuda a estrutura e o funcionamento da Organização Mundial do Comércio, através da análise de seus princípios referentes à igualdade de tratamento dos Estados Membros. Dispõe sobre atuação da OMC no desenvolvimento econômico social dos países membros da Organização. Analisa o embate entre os acordos da OMC e as convenções de direitos humanos. Estuda o sistema a partir da perspectiva dos direitos humanos para demonstrar o posicionamento da Organização e as medidas adotadas para solucionar litígios que envolvam a violação e degradação de normas protegidas pela comunidade internacional.
