Resumo: | The following Master Thesis’ theme is the state intervention on attention to habitational needs, prima facie to the socio-spatial segregation aspect. It’s background analyses life’s trajectories of a social urban housing delivered in the 90’s in Registro City, located in Vale do Ribeira, countryside of State of São Paulo. Trying to background this reality, it goes throughout this regional’s suburb, identifying fundamental aspects to be considered in a habitational intervention. Therefore, it was approached the object of study analysing the municipal characteristics and Government's trajectory concerning habitation intervention. After all, entered its in Jardim Paulistano through elaborating a cartographical action designed in complementary methodologies as documental analysis, interviews, data analysis and mainly surveying life’s stories about families who lived there, in order to find life’s stories about the land. This process allowed to understand specific experience of this group, but, essentially, the strategy developed through the years to overcome not only the access to rights and public policies essential to achieve the minimum standard of dignified life. Finally, within this master thesis was possible to define the nature of Governmental intervention during the years and identify, beside the equipments’ locations, process which reproduces segregation, , exclusion, not accessing and denying citzenship |

Tem como cenário de análise a trajetória de vida de um conjunto habitacional entregue nos anos 90 no município de Registro, situado no Vale do Ribeira, interior do estado de São Paulo. A fim da contextualização de tal realidade, viaja-se pelos rincões dessa região buscando identificar os aspectos fundamentais a serem considerados para uma intervenção habitacional. Dessa forma, a aproximação do objeto se deu através da análise das características do município e do percurso do poder público no que se refere à intervenção habitacional. Por fim, adentrou-se na dinâmica de vida do Jardim Paulistano a partir da elaboração de uma cartografia da ação, construída com base em metodologias complementares, como: análise documental, observação participante, análise de dados; mas, principalmente, com o levantamento de trajetórias de vida de famílias que ali residem, a fim de traçar a trajetória de vida do território. Esse processo permitiu uma leitura das vivências específicas desse grupo, mas sobretudo das estratégias desenvolvidas ao longo dos anos para superar o não acesso a direitos e às políticas públicas essenciais para o alcance de um patamar de vida digno.
