Resumo: With the advent of the Internet, plenty of interaction in virtual environments emerged and with it, the language, which is the basis for communication, adapted to meet the needs of the society that uses it. And to analyze the language of the Internet, virtual interaction records were collected in the chat program and made their analysis, aiming to characterize the language of the Internet as well as showing the marks of orality in the records. Based on Marcuschi (2007), was proposed retextualization these records, based operators retextualization presented by this author. This study aims to present the theory and a suggestion of working with these records chats in the classroom, thus demystifying the idea that the Internet is harmful to the youth in the processes of writing and reading

E para analisar a linguagem da Internet, foram coletados registros de interação virtual em programa de bate-papo e feita análise deles, objetivando-se caracterizar a linguagem da Internet bem como pontuar as marcas da oralidade nos registros. Em seguida, baseando-se em Marcuschi (2007), foi proposta a retextualização desses registros, tendo como base os operadores de retextualização apresentados por esse autor.
