Studies about the care of young people in psychotic distress are increasingly needed nowadays, in particular, deepening the relationships that link therapy in a Psychosocial Center - CAPS, the Brazilian Unified Health System - SUS service that guides psychosocial care. The interest in the research topic arose from my work as a multiprofessional improvement student, in which the difficulty in respecting the particularities that young people demand from the clinic was observed, such as the flexibility of agreements, horizontalization in relationships and the initial refusal to face to health care. In countries like England, Australia and Scotland, clinics for this period of life were created, understanding that the specificities of youth are different from childhood, adolescence and general adulthood. Thus, based on investigative-research in psychoanalysis, this work proposed to investigate the affectionate relationship between a psychotic youth and care professionals during the therapeutic process through the Winnicottian theory, presenting a sufficiently modified case report. The analyzes indicated the importance of characteristics such as flexibility, stability and availability of the therapist to affect and be affected by the patient, recognizing him as the holder of knowledge about himself. The attention the therapist must give to the affections circulating in the relationships with young people assisted in CAPS was relevant. The therapeutic relationship can be understood as an intermediary space, where, through the encounter, the patient can go through experiences that had not been lived yet alongside the therapist, enabling the elaboration and reintegration of aspects that have been dissociated up until then
