Resumo: This research sought to understand the solidarity relationship between the residents of ABC Paulista, militants of left organizacional and later, the experiences of the ones who lived there and exiled themselves in Chile (1960-1917). The sources that subsidized the research are made of oral testimonials of militants who have acted in the reception and in the process of struggle and resistance against the dictatorship in Brazil, as well as chilean militants who had contact with Brazilian in the period when they lived there. Therefore, the research consentrated in three chapters: the first focused in ABC Paulista underground the influences of Partido Comunista, the actions of Movimento Estudantil, theater engaged, the Ação Popular and Ala Vermelha; the second containing the analyzes about Política Operária (POLOP) and the Vanguarda Popular Revolucionária (VPR); and the third analyzing the experiences of militants from ABC Paulista who exiled themselves in Chile

As fontes primárias que subsidiam a pesquisa foram constituídas por depoimentos orais de militantes que atuaram no acolhimento e no processo de luta e resistência contra a ditadura no Brasil, bem como militantes chilenos que tiveram contato com brasileiros no período em que estes passaram a morar lá.
