Resumo: | The objective of this research is to unmask the black territoriality and the racial segregation, gifts in the main metropolis of the parents, in the historical passage of century XX. It is understood as black territory the space, cultural organization and politics around the cultural legacy and of the sociability afro-Brazilian in the city of São Paulo (Rolnik, 1998; Oliveira, 2002). In this work the analysis of the black territory and the racial segregation is centered in the looks of three pieces of the city that are located in different directions: in the zone east, Tiradentes City (46% of blacks), in the zone north, Brasilândia (38% of blacks) e, in the south zone, Ângela Garden (49% of blacks). Conceptually, territory and segregation here are analyzed through the literature of Social Sciences, appealing to the areas of the knowledge that they deal and they act around the space (Santos, 1998). The metodológica option of sources consists at four moments: the first one, the bibliographical consultation on the black, the territory and the segregation; second, the secondary, corresponding data to the information of the demographic censuses of 1980, 1991 and 2000, later, third, the interviews of the work of field with the inhabitants of the respective districts and, fourth, the cartography (maps), that they are the territorialities distributed or centered in the body of the city of São Paulo, serving us of the criteria of Véras (1998). Finally, our considerer are centered between the intermediation of the black territory and the racial segregation, whose overcoming alone can be thought, of the theoretical and practical point of view, through particulares public politics (particular) and universal |

Compreende-se como território negro a organização espacial, cultural e política em torno do legado cultural e da sociabilidade afro-brasileira na cidade de São Paulo (Rolnik, 1998; Oliveira, 2002). Neste trabalho a análise do território negro e da segregação racial centra-se nos olhares de três pedaços da cidade que estão localizados em diferentes direções: na zona leste, Cidade Tiradentes (46% de negros), na zona norte, Brasilândia (38% de negros) e, na zona sul, Jardim Ângela (49% de negros). Conceitualmente, território e segregação são aqui analisados através da literatura das Ciências Sociais, recorrendo às áreas do conhecimento que lidam e atuam em torno do espaço (Santos, 1998). A opção metodológica de fontes constitui-se em quatro momentos: a primeira, a consulta bibliográfica sobre o negro, o território e a segregação; a segunda, os dados secundários, correspondentes às informações dos censos demográficos de 1980, 1991 e 2000, posteriormente, a terceira, as entrevistas do trabalho de campo com os moradores dos respectivos distritos e, a quarta, a cartografia (mapas), que são as territorialidades distribuídas ou centralizadas no corpo da cidade de São Paulo, servindo-nos dos critérios de Véras (1998).
