Resumo: The focus of this research is the process of identity construction with an emancipatory sense based on the worldview and struggle for the territory of the indigenous people of Pataxó; The only ethnic group that could resist in the extreme-south of Bahia, inserted in a context of threats, persecutions and intense conflicts. Considered extinct until the beginning of the 20th century, the presence of the Pataxó on the "Discovery Coast" was noted after the known "massacre of 51", marked by destruction, violence and fire in the village of Barra Velha, the "mother village" Of the ethnic group, located in the region of Monte Pascoal, the mountain sighted by the Portuguese when they arrived in Brazil. The return of the survivors from the "mother village" massacre marks a period of intense political struggle and resistance, as well as the expansion of new villages around the Monte Pascoal National Park, the migration of some families to the sub-district of Coroa Vermelha, Administered by the municipality of Santa Cruz Cabrália. A struggle that ends after 24 years with the resumption of an area of Atlantic forest in Coroa Vermelha threatened by the capitalist exploitation and that inaugurates a new phase patagó identity with the creation of the Reserve Pataxó of Jaqueira, in a project of rescue of the memory and culture pataxó And environmental preservation. In order to meet the research objectives, we elaborated two analyzes: the first of the historical, geographic, economic, political and social aspects of the reality in which the Pataxó people are inserted, through developed academic researches and specialized literature on the process of colonization of South of Bahia in general, and of the Pataxó in particular, and in the narrative contributions of the Pataxó themselves; Located in the first part of the research indicated as Pataxó historical route. The second analysis, supported by research and academic bibliography, was empirically based on the process of recognition and territorialisation of the Reserva Pataxó da Jaqueira village, based on the proposal of the economic, cultural and environmental project of Ethnotourism and its implications for Construction of Pataxó ethnic identity with emancipatory meaning. Based on the theoretical proposal of the identity of Antonio da Costa Ciampa and the theory of ethnicity as a form of social interaction of Fredrik Barth and in the struggle for recognition of Axel Honnet. The empirical material was obtained through participant observation, the analysis of 22 semi-structured interviews, 3 interviews based on the life history narrative, and the collective meeting that involved the group of subjects of the research for the reflection and discussion of the results of the search. Interviewees between young people and adults, male and female, aged between 18 and 60 years; From elementary to higher education; Of which only two subjects were not literate. The research has shown that the struggle for recognition on both moral and social grounds constitutes the emancipatory processes that characterize the Political Identities of the indigenous Pataxó ethnic group as it claims for itself the juridical recognition of the original right to its territories in search of Better living conditions and the maintenance of their ethnic identity through the preservation of their customs and traditions. The results of the research indicated that through the self-determination of the indigenous people of the Jaqueira Pataxó Reserve in rescuing the indigenous-Pataxó-traditional character, it was possible to mark ethnic identity in the reserve's Ethnotourism services, providing the direction of economic, environmental and Cultural, inspiring the other villages with a vocation for ethnotourism to follow in the same direction, and Jaqueira became a recognized reference of cultural strengthening and environmental preservation to all other Pataxó villages. The indigenous-Pataxó-traditional character in his self-determination expresses the emancipatory sense of the group regarding the oppressions suffered by persecutions, physical and psychological tortures imputed by the surrounding non-indigenous society and the impossibility of living with their relatives and with their customs and tradition, In its own sacred territory. The character-warrior-pataxó characterizes the character-indigenous-with-rights giving rise to the character-pataxó-da-jaqueira who struggle to keep the character-pataxó-with-recognition

The character-warrior-pataxó characterizes the character-indigenous-with-rights giving rise to the character-pataxó-da-jaqueira who struggle to keep the character-pataxó-with-recognitionConstitui-se o foco desta pesquisa o processo de construção identitária com sentido emancipatório a partir da cosmovisão e luta por território do povo indígena pataxó; única etnia que conseguiu resistir no extremo-sul da Bahia, inserida num contexto de ameaças, perseguições e intensos conflitos. Considerados extintos até o início do século XX, a presença dos Pataxó na “Costa do Descobrimento” fez-se notar após o conhecido “massacre de 51”, marcado pela destruição, violência e incêndio na aldeia de Barra Velha, a “aldeia-mãe” da etnia, localizada na região do Monte Pascoal, o monte avistado pelos portugueses quando de sua chegada ao Brasil. O retorno dos sobreviventes do massacre à “aldeia-mãe” marca um período de intensa luta política e resistência, bem como a expansão de novas aldeias no entorno do Parque Nacional do Monte Pascoal, a migração de algumas famílias para o subdistrito de Coroa Vermelha, administrada pela prefeitura de Santa Cruz Cabrália, e a reivindicação por sua demarcação. Uma luta que se encerra após 24 anos com a retomada de uma área de mata atlântica em Coroa Vermelha ameaçada pela exploração capitalista e que inaugura uma nova fase identitária pataxó com a criação da Reserva Pataxó da Jaqueira, num projeto de resgate da memória e cultura pataxó e de preservação ambiental. Para atender aos objetivos da pesquisa, elaboramos duas análise: a primeira dos aspectos históricos, geográficos, econômicos, políticos e sociais da realidade em que se insere o povo pataxó, através de pesquisas acadêmicas desenvolvidas e literatura especializada sobre o processo de colonização dos indígenas do sul da Bahia de forma geral e, dos pataxó em particular, e nas contribuições narrativas dos próprios pataxó; localizada na primeira parte da pesquisa indicada como percurso histórico pataxó. A segunda análise, apoiada em pesquisas e bibliografia acadêmica atravessada pelas contribuições empíricas, deu-se sobre o processo de luta por reconhecimento e territorialização da aldeia Reserva Pataxó da Jaqueira a partir da proposta do projeto econômico, cultural e ambiental de Etnoturismo e seus desdobramentos para a construção da identidade étnica pataxó com sentido emancipatório, encontra-se na segunda parte denominada de percurso teórico-empírico. Fundamentada na proposta teórica de identidade de Antonio da Costa Ciampa e da teoria de etnicidade como forma de interação social de Fredrik Barth e na luta por reconhecimento de Axel Honnet. O material empírico foi obtido através da observação participante, da análise de 22 entrevistas semi-estruturadas, 3 entrevistas com base na narrativa de história de vida, e na reunião coletiva que envolveu o grupo de sujeitos da pesquisa para a reflexão e discussão dos resultados da pesquisa. Os entrevistados são do sexo masculino e feminino, de faixas etárias que variam entre 18 e 60 anos; de ensino fundamental a ensino superior; dentre os quais somente dois sujeitos não são alfabetizados. A pesquisa demonstrou que a luta por reconhecimento tanto no plano jurídico-moral quanto da estima-social constituem os processos emancipatórios que caracterizam as Identidades Políticas da etnia indígena Pataxó na medida em que reivindica para si o reconhecimento jurídico do direito originário aos seus territórios em busca de melhores condições de vida e da manutenção de sua identidade étnica através da preservação de seus costumes e tradições. Os resultados da pesquisa apontaram que através da autodeterminação dos indígenas da Reserva Pataxó da Jaqueira em resgatar a personagem-indígena-pataxó-tradicional, foi possível marcar a identidade-étnica nos serviços de etnoturismo da reserva, fornecendo a possibilidade da sustentabilidade econômica, ambiental e cultural, inspirando as demais aldeias com vocação para o etnoturismo a seguir na mesma direção, e a Jaqueira tornou-se referência reconhecida do fortalecimento cultural e preservação ambiental a todas as demais aldeias pataxó. A personagem-indígena-pataxó-tradicional em sua autodeterminação expressa o sentido emancipatório do grupo quanto às opressões sofridas por perseguições, torturas físicas e psicológicas imputadas pela sociedade envolvente de não indígenas e a impossibilidade de viver com seus parentes e com seus costumes e tradição, em seu próprio território sagrado. A personagem-guerreiro-pataxó protagoniza a personagem-indígena-com-direitos dando origem à personagem-pataxó-da-jaqueira que lutam por manter a personagem-pataxó-com-reconhecimentoCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/42367/Simone%20J%c3%b6rg.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Psicologia: Psicologia SocialPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências Humanas e da SaúdeIdentidade (Psicologia)Índios Pataxó - Identidade étnicaÍndios da América do Sul - Brasil - Direitos humanosSocial PsychologyPataxó Indians - Ethnic identityIdentity (Psychology)CNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIA::PSICOLOGIA SOCIALClínica da identidade: da cosmovisão pataxó à luta por emancipaçãoIdentity clinic: from the Pataxó worldview to the struggle for emancipationinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTSimone Jörg.pdf.txtSimone Jörg.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain805833https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/20116/4/Simone%20J%c3%b6rg.pdf.txtfaa36a851014612a3225714abcb21485MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
