This dissertation lists the carefulness in the management and implementation of social projects based on researcher´s considerations and experience in the Projeto Inclusão Social Urbana, implemented in São Paulo downtown between 2006 and 2010, by Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo (PMSP) and European Commision (C.E.). Considering the historical data of the Projeto Inclusão Social Urbana, main aspects of the implementation were identified: the conception of social inclusion; the dynamics of an affective-cognitive management; intersectoriality; territorialization; physical spaces and reception; interdisciplinary; care with professionals and the monitoring of the social project; social participation; flexibility; interruptions based on administrative topics; political circumstances and personal management aspects; bureaucracy. These categories were discussed and intertwined with the theoretical field of Social Psychology, bringing to cautions to the development of new social projects, focusing on carefulness to target population, team members of the implementation, subjective aspects of management and the management model
