Resumo: | The research Metamorphoses of indiscipline: unsettled in the classroom, linked to FAPESP Thematic Project Ecopolitics, aimed to map the resistances of children and young people to democratic school and also the ways of capturing these resistances. Through Michel Foucault’s problematization of the history of the present, the thesis intended to make visible the metamorphoses of indiscipline that occur in the emergence of ecopolitics defined by Edson Passetti as the government of the planet’s life. The locus chosen for the research were public and private participants schools of the "Global Curriculum Design for Sustainability", created by Think Global, highlighting the democratic school Politeia. The democratic school, indicated by the coordinators of the project, by international organizations and by the State as the most appropriate for our time, has a participative management; is based on planetary pedagogy, valuing sustainability, cultural pluralism, the appeasement of conflicts, playful and poetic practices and freedom of action of the students; breaks the walls and occupies the neighborhood and the city; and practices a restorative justice that expands the penalties for the family and the social network that the students participate. The main governamentality strategy of this school is the assembly, at which happen confession, denunciation and acceptance of rules / penalties for the students. Although many of these school practices exist for over a hundred years and have been created by anarchists and socialists, in the early twenty-first century democratic school is typically neoliberal and aims to form resilient intelligence and citizen global prepared to work in the company. What was found during the research is that children and youth resistances to this school are losing the indiscipline status when metamorphose in communication and behavioral disorders and, as such, are treated preventive-therapeutic manner. Therefore, it’s possible to say that the democratic school produces resilient and medicalized (in)dividuals, and more than educating citizens-global, this new education is shaping citizens-police: competitive, multiple, organized and monitorable |

Therefore, it’s possible to say that the democratic school produces resilient and medicalized (in)dividuals, and more than educating citizens-global, this new education is shaping citizens-police: competitive, multiple, organized and monitorableA pesquisa Metamorfoses da Indisciplina: transtornados na sala de aula, vinculada ao Projeto Temático FAPESP Ecopolítica, teve por objetivo mapear as resistências infanto-juvenis à escola democrática e, também, as formas de captura dessas resistências. The research Metamorphoses of indiscipline: unsettled in the classroom, linked to FAPESP Thematic Project Ecopolitics, aimed to map the resistances of children and young people to democratic school and also the ways of capturing these resistances.
