Resumo: Organizations are seeking different practices to continue competing in the globalized world. Therefore, despite the challenges that work at home presents, more and more companies are adopting this format, mainly based on the advantages that can be obtained for both the employee and the employer. The home office practice requires that the worker be more independent and able to do their self-management. This idea is also present in the contemporary concept of careers, in which the individual himself is responsible for carrying out and planning his career, seeking professional and personal fulfillment. Based on this, the present study aims to investigate the career and workers in the information technology area in São Paulo who work in home office system. For this, a theoretical survey of references was made on technology and the world of work, flexible work and home office, career theories and career anchors. The research was qualitative with a multiple case study of three companies in the information technology sector. Twenty-six professionals, including managers and human resources professionals, were interviewed. The questionnaire was divided into four parts: socio-professional information, home office practice questions, career questions, and lastly the career anchors questionnaire. The analyzes were carried out in two stages: descriptive statistics in which the data are presented in graphs and tables and by the content analysis for the questions in the form of a comment. As a result one can obtain that the career anchor with the highest incidence among the respondents was that of lifestyle, marked by the desire for autonomy and flexibility. It was also possible to find out that most people opted to perform remote work as a career option and that most workers understand that they have the same career growth opportunity as the full-time office workers

It was also possible to find out that most people opted to perform remote work as a career option and that most workers understand that they have the same career growth opportunity as the full-time office workersAs organizações estão buscando diferentes práticas para continuarem competindo no mundo globalizado. Portanto, apesar dos desafios que o trabalho em home office apresenta, cada vez mais empresas estão adotando esse formato, principalmente alicerçado nas vantagens que podem ser obtidas tanto para o empregado como para o empregador. A prática de home office exige que o trabalhador seja mais independente e que consiga fazer seu autogerenciamento. Essa ideia também está presente no conceito contemporâneo de carreiras, em que o próprio indivíduo é responsável por realizar e fazer o planejamento da sua carreira, buscando a realização profissional e pessoal. Com base nisso, o presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar a carreira de trabalhadores da área de tecnologia da informação da cidade de São Paulo que trabalham em sistema home office. Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento teórico de referenciais sobre a tecnologia e o mundo do trabalho, o trabalho flexível e o home office, as teorias de carreira e as âncoras de carreira. A pesquisa realizada teve caráter qualitativo, com um estudo de caso múltiplo de três empresas do setor de tecnologia da informação. Ao todo, foram entrevistados 26 profissionais, incluindo gerentes e profissionais de recursos humanos. O questionário foi dividido em quatro partes: informações sócio profissionais, questões sobre a prática do home office, perguntas sobre carreira e, por último, o questionário sobre âncoras de carreira. As análises foram realizadas em duas etapas: estatísticas descritivas, em que são apresentados os dados em gráficos e tabelas, e análise de conteúdo, para as questões em forma de comentário. Como resultado, pôde-se obter que a âncora de carreira com maior incidência entre os respondentes foi a de estilo de vida, marcada pelo desejo de autonomia e flexibilidade. Também foi possível averiguar que a maioria das pessoas optou por realizar o trabalho remoto como uma opção de carreira e que a maior parte dos trabalhadores entende que tem a mesma oportunidade de crescimento de carreira do que os que trabalham tempo integral no escritórioCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/42014/Regiani%20Salv%c3%a1tico%20Pereira%20da%20Silva.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em AdministraçãoPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Economia, Administração, Contábeis e AtuariaisTecnólogosTrabalho remotoHorário de trabalho flexivelHome OfficeRemote workTechnology professionalsCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ADMINISTRACAOA carreira de profissionais de Ti em sistema home-officeinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTRegiani Salvático Pereira da Silva.pdf.txtRegiani Salvático Pereira da Silva.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain225638https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/20000/5/Regiani%20Salv%c3%a1tico%20Pereira%20da%20Silva.pdf.txtf2b61eab5283468ebf54f1a00a039a82MD55ORIGINALRegiani Salvático Pereira da Silva.pdfRegiani Salvático Pereira da Silva.pdfapplication/pdf1341914https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/20000/2/Regiani%20Salv%c3%a1tico%20Pereira%20da%20Silva.pdf32e0585435e30fe2b22532317ac321d7MD52LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
