Resumo: | This Research aims to understand how the comprehension of different language games, evidenced in different professions, can contribute to the learning of the concept of function in the 1st year of High school, using as a teaching method the Ethnomathematics. The theoretical contributions That served as a foundation for The two pillars of this investigation were: Ethnomathematics, From the Perspective of D'Ambrosio (1993, 1999, 2002, 2005) and Ferreira (2010); Language games, Based on the studies of the second Wittgenstein (1979). The study participants were students of the 1st year of high School of a public schools, located in the city of Porto Alegre, and a professional group chosen by the students. Data collection was used Different Instruments: two questionnaires; Two interviews, structured and semi-structured; Class diary. Therefore, the data collected were analyzed by means of discursive Textual analysis (ATD), from which they emerged 413 Units of meaning that were grouped by similarity originating the 58 Initial categories, of the analysis Of these TherganizaraM-SE 10 Categories Intermediate which culminated In Three Final Categorials, whether they are: Ethnomathematics in the different forms of mathematics use in the professions; The different language games in the school community; Understanding a concept by use in language. With the results of the analysis it was possible to realize that the Associated language Ogos Stages of Ethnomathematics as a teaching method demonstrated efficacy For Understanding On the part of thousands of a concept by use in language. The use of this method that goes through the field research, analysis of research and validation, broaded the perception and comprehension of the students regarding the usage of the concept in different life forms. It highlights that the search for similarity and dissimilarity within the language games of the professionals Created conditions that enabled the Students Realizer In The functionality of using a concept within a professional group. Finally, thinking about Ethnomathematics as a problematizing of the concepts used by school mathematics, opens paths that enable students ' connections with their social environment, and shows that it is possible to articulate new methods that contribute to the analysis of Use of the same concept in different language games, in order to understand not only the definition of a concept, but rather its use in a life form. |

Submitted by PPG Educa??o em Ci?ncias e Matem?tica (educem-pg@pucrs.br) on 2019-04-29T17:39:04Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Disserta??o Gisella final 19-homologada-24-04-19.pdf: 1983666 bytes, checksum: 0f770607b7f333bbb8a2582d5694af07 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Sarajane Pan (sarajane.pan@pucrs.br) on 2019-05-28T18:15:45Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 Disserta??o Gisella final 19-homologada-24-04-19.pdf: 1983666 bytes, checksum: 0f770607b7f333bbb8a2582d5694af07 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2019-05-28T18:27:18Z (GMT).
