Resumo: This research addresses the presence Northeastern in Maringa, northern Paraná, with reports of a couple of Northeasterners who came to the county in 1957, when the city begins to take its first steps. Looking through restoring memory oral and life histories, as his was the process starting from their places of origin to arrival in the municipality in question. Working systematically personal biographies and their forms of sociability, relating to the history of formation and development of the municipality and its current dynamics.The study also seeks the visibility of the Northeast, represented as a group seldom remembered and recognized as protagonists in the colonization of the city, emphasizing how these subjects currently live and relate to the history of the municipality in which were also builders.The reports of the couple and their memories of informants, and traced the history of Maringa, and demonstrate the ways personal experiences of a typical family sertanejos brought in migratory movements of fronts Pioneer. Finally, the survey also provides us a more comprehensive migration to northeastern regions south / southeast, the expansion of large and medium urban centers, in addition to the various debates about what is to be the north and northeast in the social imaginary.

Analisando por meio do resgate da memória oral e das histórias de vida dessas pessoas, como seu deu o processo de partida de seus locais de origem até chegada ao município de Maringá. Trabalhando sistematicamente as biografias pessoais e suas formas de sociabilidade, relacionando com a história da constituição e desenvolvimento do município e suas dinâmicas atuais.O estudo também apresentar os nordestinos como um grupo pouco lembrado quando se analisa a colonização da cidade, ou como um agente social importante na formação de Maringá, enfatizando a maneira como esses sujeitos vivem atualmente e se relacionam com a história do município no qual também foram construtores. Os relatos do casal de informantes e suas memórias, além de remontar a história de Maringá, demonstram os caminhos e experiências pessoais de uma típica família de sertanejos trazidos nos movimentos migratórios das Frentes Pioneiras.
