Resumo: Projovem Urbano is a program for the inclusion of young people between 18 and 29 years old that aims to assist students who can read and write but who were unable to complete elementary school. Considering the relevance of teacher education for the teaching-learning process, the general objective of the research is to analyze teachers' perceptions of Projovem Urbano about continuing education in Itaporanga, PB. The research was conducted with a sample composed of 9 (nine) teachers from schools belonging to the Itaporanga Polo. Opting for the qualitative approach, use of bibliographic research, document analysis, interviews and questionnaire application. The field research of this study was conducted in March 2017. As a result, it was identified that the continuing education of teachers in Projovem Urban is essential in the improvement of pedagogical practices. Although the assessment of the training process was positive, the specificities of the integrated curriculum raise questions regarding its proposal applied to the target audience.

Considerando a relevância da formação de professores para o processo ensino-aprendizagem, o objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar as percepções de professores do Projovem Urbano acerca da formação continuada no Município de Itaporanga, PB. A pesquisa foi realizada com amostra composta por 9 (nove) professores de escolas pertencentes ao Polo de Itaporanga. Optando-se pela abordagem qualitativa, utilização de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental, entrevistas e aplicação de questionário. A pesquisa de campo deste estudo foi realizada em março de 2017. Como resultado obtido, identificou-se que a formação continuada de professores do Projovem Urbano é imprescindível no aprimoramento das práticas pedagógicas.
