A representatividade do espaço na expressão de subjetividades homoeróticas em três narrativas de Aguinaldo Silva

Questions related to the fictional element and space and the homoerotic matters have received a huge projection in the literary studies becoming important issues in contemporary academic discussions in the last decades. With this in mind, we have decided to discuss, in this research, the space and homoeroticism relation; our main focus during this study was the writings of author Aguinaldo Silva. The corpus for the analysis of this research was based on three narratives by the aforesaid author; they are No País das Sombras (1978), Memórias da guerra (1986) and Lábios que beijei (1992). In such texts, homoerotic inclined characters are the main topic of the plot. By establishing this relation between spacial perspective and homoerotic themes, we analyzed the influence of space and its several representative aspects in the accomplishment of the selected narratives. With the purpose of fulfilling our objective, we worked with the topoanalysis as well as with the discussion on other concepts such as territory, territorialization, boundaries, in-between, ghetto, sub-culture and foreigner with the purpose of verifying the urban spaces representative way in narrative texts, and their interference in the homoerotic subjectification processes experienced by the characters in the studied narratives. We realized that in this phase of his writing production, Aguinaldo Silva highlights the homoaffective relationships, thus revealing a literature with diversity of homoerotic subjetiveness which redirects and reframes certain social environments through transits, social or sexual drifts and the foundation of micro-territorializations.
