The population in the street situation has significantly increased in the end of XX century due to the economic crises and the adoption of neoliberal politics. The strategies of damage reduction emerge as instruments to soften the injustices and, after, it’s oficialyzed as public policies. In the town of Campina Grande -PB, in the year of 2011, the Ruanda program was open to promove social assistance to children and teenagers in vulnerability.Such service start to focus in the children and teenagers in the street situation. In the year of 2011, was inaugurated in the city the Consulting room on street, after named consulting room’ team on the street, to promove health and reduze damage of population in a street situation. This researche as an aim to analyze the work activity of the teams of these two services aimed at working with the population in the street situation. The theoretical approach of work in Work Psychodynamics includes the centrality of work in the construction of identity and construction of the society. The research methodology is qualitative. Four thematic collective interviews were conducted with unstructured script in each institution. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed through thematic content analysis. The results and discussions of this study are presented through the articles "Invisible Workers: Analysis of Work with the Population in a Street Situation" and "I Am in the Street": the work activity of a team in the Office ". The results evidenced the precariousness of the work as lack of inputs or reduction of the quantity of workers; tensions with the organization of work that provoke frustrations and symptoms of psychic suffering; disregard of prescriptions, given the limitations of resources and distancing from the organization of work, legitimized collectively; cooperation in the tasks, with transversality; use of astute intelligence to lead with users' demands; and return of affections by users that gives them the judgment of beauty and utility as acknowledgment for the given care.
