Studies about writing has advanced greatly in recent times. The technological innovation has not replaced the writing but it has contributed to prove its value to the individual in a literate world. In this perspective, the EJA proposes the insertion, at school, from young and adults, both off age, it required to the regular teaching, for taking view the current socioeconomic requirements that require from the individual the writing matery, so as discursive language dominion in its social function, in several situations more. The present research is from qualitative nature and it has as objective to investigate the developing process of the EJA students’, writing productions the 3 segment (high school), focusing the argumentative letter in the Portuguese language teaching. Production considered in the dominion from textual and discursive genders. Our research is situated in the context of the Applied Linguistic and theoretically based on contributions of Textual and Sociointeractionist Linguistic the light of ( BEZERRA, 2002),( BRONKART, 1999),( MARCUSCHI, 2008), (REINALDO, 2002), (KOCH, 1992), among others. The dados generated that constitute the corpus are formed by 8 texts by one student both produced through development from a didactic sequence, executed in the first half semester, during the months March to June, 2013. In addition these data, we included in these analysis oral testimonials on the writing in the daily of the student, subject of the research, like writing interview realized with the said subject in the probing stage. The analysis realized shows that there is possibility in the development of writing practice, focusing on the rewriting process, in the EJA student’s classroom.
